If price takes too long to create the protected swing during a retracement, it is just consolidation. Phases of price: - expansion -> retracement -> expansion - expansion -> consolidation (retracement that took too long) -> expansion (fake move) -> reversal

@TTrades_edu Good review. I call those HL’s and also good to know that a healthy HL/protected swing may not have follow through and reverse back down to continue the consolidation. That HL is a great are to manage risk though, as you continue to point out

@TTrades_edu Nutmeg Once i see this i say ok iam not satisfied with this price i will wait for a continuation.. A reversal usually happen as u say Requesting a continuation is really a helpful insight u gave last live in such price action and saved me unnecessary losses
