🇮🇹🇺🇦 Managed to get some new info in regards to the B1 Centauro’s Italy has sent to Ukraine. Happy to share with you all that the B1’s Italy sent are fully operational, they are currently protecting the northeastern border near Belarus, 2 companies for now are there.
@NichoConcu Do we know which unit these B1 Centauros were transferred to? The only unit in this sector is the 1st Ivan Bohun Territorial Defense Brigade. Are these vehicles considered so fragile that they are sent to such a secondary sector?
@Stevius21 For now no, they’re not THAT fragile but do consider that they’re not exactly armoured. They’ll likely be used to quickly react to threats and then be gone before the enemy can retaliate.

@RSadovy You’re acting as if every delivery given to Ukraine is announced. When it comes to Italian aid, which there’s a lot of, official news basically never gets reported. Also no photos doesn’t mean they’re not there.

@NichoConcu Yeah makes most sense . They can provide support against a foe that have not fully drone integrated, and have many older T-72's, which hulls the cannon is more than enough to face. Also beginning of conflict is still more manoeuvre
