I'm currently reading a comparison of health systems globally. There are about 4 sentences that really sum it up. 1/4: “The United States is the only developed country that lets insurance companies profit from basic health coverage”

2/4: "Let's puncture the most persistent myth of all: that America has “the finest health care” in the world. We don’t." 3/4: "In terms of results, almost all advanced countries have better national health statistics than the United States does." Just wait for this last part...

4/4: "In terms of finance, we force 700,000 Americans into bankruptcy each year because of medical bills. In France, the number of medical bankruptcies is zero. Britain: zero. Japan: zero. Germany: zero." Exhibit 500,000 that we're a third-world country in a Gucci belt. ,

I didn’t expect this thing I was reading for Pro Devo to go up like this. 1. The affordable care act was necessary for expanding coverage and including pre existing conditions. Yall don’t remember the world where anything had you excluded. 2. No it didn’t go far enough.

3. No it shouldn’t be over turned, but it should be enhanced. 4. It won’t BC of the insurance lobby! But you’d likely get them out before some of the others yall fake protest (IYKYK). Ask Marjorie Taylor Greene 🙃. 5. Go Take PrEP (#IAmHIVPossible) & live long. 💜 Muted.

@DrBritWilliams The ACA is a bandaid on a bullet hole. We don’t need more affordable insurance; we need Insurance to become a perk offered at work, or something people buy if they want to see a specialist faster. Otherwise, healthcare should be the same as those other first world nations.
