@JohnLeePettim13 The mechanics of greenhouse forcing were first suggested by Fourier in 1824 (to explain why the earth is much warmer than the -18C it should be based on insolation - pretty strong evidence?) and first ascribed to CO2 (and H2O) by Arrhenius in 1896. Neither of whom was Canadian.
