Rest in peace, Tomonobu Itagaki. Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden made an undeniable impact on gaming. I only crossed paths with him a few times, but he could not have been nicer.

@noobde Itagaki is something you'll never be Ed, a outlier who makes the kind of games he wants on his terms while pushing things to the edge. If your female characters weren't so ugly and neutered maybe id have a different opinion.

@noobde What made him a true legend was not being negatively impacted by the critics and journalists that thought his games were "oversexualized" I wish more game studios would have the courage to follow his stead.
