3D Gaussian Splatting Driving Simulator! You know those YouTube walking tours? I think this could become a similar trend like driving around in a splat or taking your driver's license test in a 3DGS simulator.
@janusch_patas interesting! I've been thinking about training a GS with all the camera feeds from a Model Y. It is basically a moving rig with synchronized 6 cameras. This should allow camera pose with prior assumptions of fixed camera offsets should provide VR headset level positional

@janusch_patas How do you manage collisions with the surrounding elements? Gaussian Splats aren't true geometries.

@janusch_patas You need underlying physics, or splat collisions for driver feedback. If they're in, this would be fantastic.
