chat im starting to think advent might be the good guys
@PROMlNENCES i mean when you think about it most of advent got punishments much worse than the crime so im not particularly surprised their the good guys liz saying that on the other hand IS surprising-
@RandyFulcher1 @PROMlNENCES Eh, fwmc were locked up like this, so not to bad. Shiori is the one that got the supervillain treatment.
@RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES and i think their the outlier nerissa was permanently disabled and was likely given a life sentence or at least more than 9 THOUSAND YEARS for a mistake and shiori to my knowledge didn't even commit any crime besides knowing something a bunch of "gods" didn't want her to know.
@RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES even if they did have comfortable prisons or not the "gods" who had them locked up are pretty clearly corrupt. plus i love my solitude but no matter how comfortable the cell being locked up in a cell for 9 thousand years is hellish punishment.
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES Tbf she could have been locked up for that long because of how long she lives like say she got a ten year sentence that would mean nothing to someone who lives for tens of thousands of years so it could be a normal prison sentence for someone who lives that long
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES Nerissa spent 9000 years in the cell and she's only been alive for 10000 nerissa has also if I remember correctly said for demons she's around early twenties in body and mental growth so by that logic they locked her up when she was like... 2ish in demon years? Obvious she was
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES More mature than a human 2 year old but still she was VERY young for a demon when they locked her up and perminantly disabled her the reason for her lock up also being because she was young and didn't know how to fully control her powers
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES I don’t know how cannon the age thing nerissa came up with is since in any official lore we get she looks exactly as she does now so unless she was a really tall two year old I just don’t buy it also she turned thousands of people insane so that’s why she had a long sentence
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES Fair enough still though she didn't even know she was doing that and no longer can do it so why give her a sentence so long? Even for an immortal to aging being 9000 years and presumably much longer if she hadn't escaped is an absurd amount of time to be locked up
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES I get your point but theirs also a good chance those people she turned insane died (good chance some were kids even) so it could be a simple thing like 5 years in prison for each person she killed which is why the sentence is so long
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES Eh fair your probably right It's just the part that they perminantly disabled her and locked her up if they just locked her up I'd be less annoyed with them the horn was just cruel.
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES I think the horn thing is more so she can’t do this again on accident or on purpose like it’s more so to protect everyone since even if she could control her powers what if she turned bad after being locked up and started turning people insane again
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES Exactly why I'm annoyed they did it imagine you got your arm cut off because of a what if? Would you think its reasonable to have a part of you perminantly remove just because a bunch of "GODS" were scared of what you could do?
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES It wasnt cut off because of a what if she proved she could do that also take in the time period they were in. 9000 years ago humans had just started building settlements and using stone tools no one besides the gods could really stop her at the time so she was extremely dangerous
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES why else would it of been cut off? what to subdue her? were these "gods" so bloody incompetent they couldn't bring in one demon without breaking her horn??? and so what if she was dangerous my point of them not having to break her horn still stands.
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES In case she broke out (like she did) then she wouldn’t be able to cause as much harm as before as she would be weakened
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES so like i literally said they broke her horn because of a what if? what if she served her sentence then? then they just broke her horn for no reason unless it can be returned to her in some way they would of just disabled her permanently because of a what if.
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES She isn’t disabled permanently she constantly says that if she gets her horn back she can reattach it and get her power back
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES true remembered that but still they have it and do you really think they'd give it back to her if she served her sentence?
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES Maybe we can’t say for sure we also don’t know who has it could be the gods or justices bosses or maybe it was kept at the place where she turned everyone insane though shiori says she knows where it’s at but I think it’s just unofficial lore but proves it wasn’t destroyed
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES true but i for ain't exactly keen on believing "gods" who'd lock someone up for life just for knowing something would be kind enough to give nerissa her horn back if she served her sentence under the assumption they didn't just give her a life sentence
@RandyFulcher1 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES Again we don’t know who has the horns or if it was even the same gods so while the gods might not give the horn someone else could
@Realistic689616 @RiantAugustLady @PROMlNENCES now that agree with i am confident nerissa will get her horn back at some point and doubt the gods from before are who hold the horn anymore they don't exactly seem very organized
@RandyFulcher1 @Realistic689616 @PROMlNENCES The missing horn is canonically owned by Shiori, but I forgot in which stream she said so.
@RiantAugustLady @Realistic689616 @PROMlNENCES didn't she say she knew where it was not that she had it?
@RandyFulcher1 @Realistic689616 @PROMlNENCES Ok I found the clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?... She put it in her inventory.
@RiantAugustLady @Realistic689616 @PROMlNENCES huh interesting...
