They changed the Arabic to English translation of “jihad against the Jews” to “resist the occupation” in this documentary for western consumption btw. That in itself is a pretty good summary of this entire 76 year conflict

@lilbuddymax That is a perfectly accurate translation. ‘Jihad’ in English has a different meaning in English than in Arabic so ‘struggle’ or ‘resist’ is a reasonable word choice. Similarly, Israeli or occupier is a reasonable translation of ‘Yahud’. Documentary sounds like propaganda though.
