Drinking 8 glasses of water daily is a scam. By drinking plain water, you’re draining electrolytes, weakening your mitochondria & killing your cellular energy. Here’s the only science-backed hydration protocol you need (& why everyone’s doing it wrong):

1. Mineral Balance Your cells need minerals to actually absorb water, because without them, you're just flushing out nutrients and making things worse. Add 1/4 teaspoon of high-quality sea salt per 32 oz of water (+ space your water intake throughout the day).

2. Cellular Hydration Your body is like a battery – it needs minerals for conductivity, and without proper cellular hydration, all systems fail. How to get it: 1 oz of water per pound of body weight daily, stop drinking 2 hours before bed, and add minerals to every glass to

3. The Exercise Protocol Working out depletes electrolytes fast, and most sports drinks make dehydration worse. To stay balanced, drink 24 oz of water per hour of training, add electrolytes post-workout, focus on cellular absorption, and double your mineral intake.

4. Natural Hydrators Certain foods enhance hydration at the cellular level better than plain water because they contain both structured water & electrolytes that improve absorption: 1. Watermelon (92% water plus electrolytes) 2. Cucumber (96% water plus minerals) 3. Citrus

5. Hidden Dehydrators Some “healthy” habits silently drain your body of water and minerals, disrupting every system that depends on hydration: What to avoid: 1. Alcohol (massive dehydrator) 2. Processed foods 3. Excessive coffee intake

6. Absorption Timing When you hydrate affects how much water your cells actually use versus waste. To do it right, drink between meals (not during), start immediately upon waking, space intake throughout the day, and stop 2 hours before bed.

7. Electrolyte Balance Without proper electrolytes, water goes right through you, making dehydration even worse. In order to balance it right, you need: 1. Sodium (sea salt) 2. Potassium (avocados) 3. Calcium (mineral water) 4. Magnesium (leafy greens). (Or use an electrolyte

8. Quality Matters Most water sources today do more harm than good. Tap water often contains chlorine, fluoride, and heavy metals, while plastic bottles leach microplastics and endocrine disruptors. For optimal hydration, choose spring water, mineral-rich sources, or properly

Remember It’s not about drinking more water – it’s about getting water into your cells. Most people are doing it all wrong. Make these changes and you’ll notice better cognitive function, more energy, and headaches disappear.

@morellifit I thought I was doing things right by drinking a bunch of water. Then, my electrolytes got so low, I developed a minor heart arrhythmia. So glad I now what to do and not do. All is well now. Glad you posted this for others to learn.

@MissLadyLee My mission is to make people healthier Glad you liked the post

@morellifit @_Pammy_DS_ @grok is this tweet true

@morellifit Mountain valley is goated

@morellifit Fab thread. Thank you for the reminder to take my electrolytes.

@_Pammy_DS_ Thanks Pammy haha ! Time to hydrate properly

@morellifit What a load of nonsense.

@MariCronje2 A load of nonsense?

@BCprospector What soup ?

@morellifit Great thread right here!! Not talked about enough!

@BullionNation I appreciate it ! People are still thinking that drinking 8 glasses of water is enough

@morellifit Is there a version of the salt that is not “microplastic free”? They do realize the vessel still contains plastic and therefore could introduce microplastics? What a weird thing to advertise. 🤨

@morellifit Appreciate this post sir. Dealing with kidney issues and drinking more water than ever. As you mentioned, it just gives right through me. Just ordered all this. Where does the honey come in?

@morellifit ya just need to add 1/4 tsp of natural salt like Baja is all

@morellifit About 3 to 5 cups of water is more than enough

@morellifit people keep reinventing water for clicks,next up: “how breathing air is a scam.”

@morellifit Does this work even with kidney stone recovery-I have been having my husband drink-4 ounces of raw lemon juice, electrolyte water, raw organic honey from a local beekeeper-some pink sea salt but he has also been drinking fresh squeezed oj and water.

@morellifit What science?

@morellifit I’ve learned the best water to drink is to filter tap or bottled water through a countertop water distiller and then add electrolytes and trace minerals to it.

@morellifit Of course I’m in Colorado which is quite dry. Most people end up in ER from losing blood volume due to not drinking enough fluids. Especially in summer: sunstoke The kidneys & lymphs only work properly if flushed with plenty of water. Each person’s requirement is different

@morellifit This honey you have is total bullshit in plastic!
