2/ VASCO analyzed pre-Sputnik sky plates, images of the night sky from before 1957, decades before the first satellites. They found short lived transients, bright, star-like flashes that appear and vanish within minutes. And then they noticed something strange... these events

3/ When the team cross referenced the dates of those transients with above ground nuclear tests and UFO sighting reports, the data lined up. Statistically significant correlation, confirmed through peer review.
