@theWellRedMage Just recently got a PS2 slim and was playing FF10 not even an hour ago, loving the little thing so far. What else should I get for it? Anything but RE4 and Kingdom Hearts should be new to me

@theWellRedMage People mistake good graphics for raw horsepower. You don't need to model every blade of grass, every leaf on every tree, every tooth in everyone's mouth, to make a game look good. All it takes is vision and style.

@Beastness501 If the point of new games is just resolution and fps, I guess? I'll take creative, appealing, beautiful games like these any gen. Heck I just bought this full price:

@theWellRedMage Not every PS2 game is made the same so this is a moot point. For every game that looked like MGS, you had a dozen more that looked like Persona. And Persona worked because of the story, gameplay and art direction, but it was no visual masterpiece.

@GMScherr This is true of every console. Even my favorite, the SNES, has both Chrono Trigger and some throwaway like Vegas Stakes. Hence why comparing a game's visuals to an entire system's is silly, lacks nuance, and shows off the dumb-dumb.
