🇺🇦🇷🇺 Kindergarden in Kharkov, what happened? First of all in the block is a kindergarten, it’s hard to find at first but there is one. The kids were all in the shelter and came out later, hence no one was injured. 1/

The actual strike hit the cafe in the front building and destroyed the upper floor. 3/
Shortly after the explosion no kids were at the scene, that’s because they all were in the shelter of the kindergarten. 4/
Once it was safe and the camera team was there, they dressed the kids up, and brought them out. Obviously in a dramatic run in front of the camera. 5/
To blur the line between the kindergarten and the cafe they threw some books on top and took photos. 6/
The good news is no kids were harmed they were in the shelter and the explosion was not directly at the kindergarten, but the building in the front. Hope the w at ends, this needs to stop. 7/
I don’t know if the building was struck intentionally or if the drone was diverted with EW, or hit and fell down. I mean if a drone is hit by air defense, it has to fall down somewhere. But again it’s speculation. Glad no kid was harmed. 8/

They’re expensive and have a shelter. That’s where all kids were. The shelter is even with multiple rooms and activities. So they can easily spend hours there. Hence all kids were safe until the situation was over. That is why no one is harmed and came out later.

@MyLordBebo From what I understand, most strikes on civilian areas happen like this. Drones fly over the cities on their way to rural areas and are shot down by city defenses. Particularly shahed drones are explosive and drop into the cities when shot down. It makes sense.
