@tjmuggs1 I believe the second part of that, I don't believe the first. I do believe that a lot of the value of most cryptocurrency today comes from people speculating that there will be more speculation in the future than there is today.

@wowAwesomeness I agree that generally the right test for whether a person doing something with AI is lawful is whether them doing it without AI is lawful.

@tonyXRPL It's human-generated speech. AI is just a tool humans use to express themselves more easily, more effectively, or for other reasons.

@SwaggerKING19 The logic of free speech is not that speech is safe and harmless so it's okay for it to be free. The logic is that speech is dangerous and powerful and so it must not be controlled by the government.

@JoelKatz I completely agree. Writing into law that Hitler cannot be exported is like having AI preemptively burn books. The First Amendment isn't an optional add-on; it's core to the system
