GW 8 Notes - Teams ✍️ 🔵 Chelsea - Comfortable 3-0 win vs Forest. Heading into a really nice fixture run with two straight wins. 🔴 Man Utd - Big win at Anfield thanks to a late Maguire goal. 3 wins in their last 4 PL games, things are starting to improve for United.

GW 8 Notes - Players ✍️ 🦅 Mateta - Recorded an incredible number of 3.67 xG vs Bournemouth, which means that he actually underperformed his xG despite scoring a hattrick… ⚫️ Woltemade - Scored for the third PL game in a row. 4 goals in his first 5 PL games. Nice pick at 7.4m.

GW 9 Fixture to target 🎯 🔵 CHE vs: SUN (H) Chelsea have won 4 games in a row (all competitions) and begin a nice run of fixtures here with Sunderland (H) in GW 9. Investing in Chelsea players now gets you assets that you could easily keep for 8 GWs or more.

GW 9 Player Recommendation: Enzo Fernández (6.7m) is back from injury and started and played 45 mins vs Ajax in the UCL. With Palmer out, Enzo takes pens for Chelsea (as seen vs both Ajax and vs Fulham in GW 3). Given Chelsea’s fixtures, Enzo is a tempting midfield pick.

GW 9 Player to avoid: Mohammed Kudus is owned by 35% of FPL managers and has another 100k transfers in this GW. However, Spurs’ fixture run looks quite tough up until about GW 19 and as Kudus’ underlying numbers haven’t been great, this is a player to avoid for me going forward.

GW 9 Tips 💡 🔹 If you haven’t used your Bench Boost yet, this could be a good GW to do so as teams like Burnley and Leeds have favourable fixtures. 🔹 Don’t rush to sell Gyökeres because of 4 straight blanks. Fixtures are great and his UCL brace shows the potential he offers.

GW 9 Captaincy: Erling Haaland - 💰14.7 Fixture: AVL (A) GW 9 captaincy will be an easy decision for most managers this GW. Haaland’s 11 goals in 8 PL games while averaging 1.14 xG/90 makes him the obvious pick as there’s a lack of other appealing premium picks at the moment.

Bukayo Saka - 💰10.0 Fixture: CRY (H) It’s honestly difficult to find a reasonable captaincy pick this week apart from Haaland, but I do think Saka is the second best option. Looks like he’ll take penalties and plays a Palace team that’s conceded 4.06 xG in their last 2 games.

GW 9 Differentials 🎲 1️⃣ Eli Junior Kroupi - 💰4.5 Ownership: 2.4% Fixture: NFO (H) 2️⃣ Reece James - 💰5.4 Ownership: 5.7% Fixture: SUN (H) 3️⃣ Danny Welbeck - 💰6.3 Ownership: 3.2% Fixture: MUN (A)
