This isn’t just three councillors - it’s a large tranche of the Scottish Greens Glasgow activists, including Ellie Gomersall, the second list candidate in Glasgow (who had a very good chance of getting elected).
This is - clearly - the direct consequence of the Scottish Greens conference voting against talks about collaboration with YourParty.
@AdamRamsay What the fuck happened? Ellie was basically guaranteed to be an MSP and she's just thrown that in the trash, what could possibly have motivated these people to do this mere months before the election?
@EleanoraStats The Glasgow selection fight between her and Patrick Harvie was very bruising, killing activity in the branch, and they were upset about the motion on YourParty falling. And there has been a lot of YP support in Glasgow. But, I am surprised, it does seem rash.
