We've seen lots of social media comments on reports of a tornado in south Ft Worth tonight. While reports are helpful, we need ground truth info instead of radar screenshots. If you have actual reports of damage, please send them. Damage pics w/ location are most helpful. #dfwwx

@NWSFortWorth It wasn't a Tor. Either downburst \ straight line. Youngins these days. Why I left the wx scene years ago after 15+ years.
@NWSFortWorth No one in local news seems to be talking about any missed warning. But our sirens went off (near TCU) and we took cover. Of course first thing we do is look at radar and saw no warnings. Should at least be looked into.

@NWSFortWorth @millersk02 Rosemont neighborhood south of Berry St and to the west of Hemphill St has several large trees and telephone poles or street lamps down. Hard to take pictures of any damage because the power is completely out and police have many streets shut down

@NWSFortWorth Rendering my video right now, an insane amount of powerflashes occured next to us as we came off the highway from 287 to 30 crossing over the overpass and seemingly continuing parallel to the south of the road. Large tree damage & light roof damage was the worst we saw nearby
