@towelthetank Dude, I played around with you add-ons for maybe one expansion and said screw it. It's not worth the time. I'm glad these changes are happening, I actually wish they'd go more scorched earth.

@towelthetank as someone who's been using elvui for like forever, i must say that i seriously don't mind switching back to blizz ui but seeing some comments on that wow civil war is peak cinema 😂😂😂
@towelthetank New players just want to play and not have to fuck around with addons and UI. It’s clearly reached some kind of critical point where more people have stopped playing than joining the game
@towelthetank It’s insane, why can’t people just accept that both ways are valid and we shouldn’t just ignore a large portion of the player bases needs (with addons). I definitely like the step towards blizzard building them into their default UI but they’ve had 20 years to do some of this

@towelthetank I’m a default UI andy but the people have a right to be upset at this because blizzard specifically said that all UI addons would be untouched and they like those.. now they’re just going back on their word??
@towelthetank People don't realize Microsoft is pushing WoW onto consoles, aiming to boost Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions and user base. I don't use it, but I understand why others do. WoW is coming to consoles, like it or not and addons had to die for that to happen.
@towelthetank I’ve gone back and forth over the years. Lots of xperl and bt4 from wrath til like legion when I discovered elvui, but mostly been using the built in Blizz ui since TWW mostly. It is interesting to see both sides during this time.
@towelthetank I understand they want to remove Weakauras but breaking stuff like Elvui seems dumb ...

@towelthetank It is hilarious lol. I don't really care either way. Take all the addons away or not. 99.9% of the people complaining about it regardless of the changes will be playing Midnight on release. Evolve with the game or quit.

Development of ElvUI for Midnight is now officially on hold. We would need to see major changes from Blizzard very soon to be able to actually provide the UI replacement our users want.
