American ordered a Family Meal from Texas Roadhouse She shows the steak completely comes apart into a slime like meat glue. By simply pressing with a spoon it turns into mush Many restaurants and suppliers in America are taking leftover scraps of meat, binding them together
@WallStreetApes since when does Texas Roadhouse send out meals in dollar store aluminum pans?
@WallStreetApes We’ve entered the era of Glued Meat Nation, where dinner isn’t carved — it’s assembled Franken-steak held together with industrial glue. They’re not feeding you beef — they’re feeding you chemistry, branded as convenience. Progress, they say. I call it culinary taxidermy.
@WallStreetApes Pure pasture raised grass fed beef right there
@WallStreetApes Was told by a chef who does the ordering in a pretty nice restaurant, they order the “glued” strip steaks to save on costs. They’ve been doing it for over a decade
@WallStreetApes Would this even pass a restaurant health inspection? They should be required to list it right on the menu: Option A: Real meat, regular New York Strip. Option B: "Glued-together" New York Strip. Makes you wonder what that glue does to your insides. Give it time, Pfizer will
@WallStreetApes @ladybugz443 We went there and I sent mine back. It tasted like lamb gelatin. Get this, they took half off my bill because I ate some of the side dishes.
@WallStreetApes Is this their cheap ass "road kill" steak? I tried that once and it's the only thing I've ever had there that wasn't good. But it was the cheapest thing on the menu. I usually order sirloin and have never seen anything like this.
@WallStreetApes Bruh that’s straight nightmare fuel. You walk into Texas Roadhouse thinking you’re about to demolish a fat juicy steak and instead you get some Frankenstein meat held together with damn glue like it’s arts and crafts hour at a slaughterhouse. These restaurants out here binding
@WallStreetApes That steak can be eaten with a straw.
@WallStreetApes Roadkill House! That's going to be great for that food chain in the long run 🤨. I would have gotten my money back.
@WallStreetApes Where's the beef?
@WallStreetApes Nothing’s real anymore, not even dinner
@WallStreetApes That's why we call it Texas Roadkill
@WallStreetApes I think this guy did something nasty to her steak!🤣
@WallStreetApes I called the Bill Gates meat
@WallStreetApes Road Kill needs to go into the name.
@WallStreetApes There’s a name for this I’m looking for… What is it again? What is it… hmm… Oh, yeah - right! Got it:
@WallStreetApes The words "soylent green" just crossed my mind.
@WallStreetApes Last night my husband brought a couple steaks home and a half of one of them was just like this after being cooked. What is going on?
@WallStreetApes I call BS on this post @grok
@WallStreetApes Not buying it. If she saw there was a problem when she cut it, why did she put in her mouth? Why didn't she take back immediately? It's looks like canned dog food she threw on the grill herself, or it's an AI enhance video.
@WallStreetApes Fake meat? Beyond meat? I don't think that's scrap meat glued together. Even my cat's food is more solid meat than that.
@WallStreetApes That's why I prefer venison. I know where it comes from because I get it myself. Other than that I buy from the local butcher where they get beef from locally owned farms. I rarely go out anymore for steak. They want too much money for it and then you got shit like this.
@WallStreetApes Texas Roadhouse PR team working overtime in the comments
@WallStreetApes I would say people should quit buying that food but who am I kidding. Fat lazy Americans will whine and cry about it while still giving them their money. What a weird time to be alive.
@WallStreetApes I bet they were charged for real meat prices on top of it. That’s disgusting
@WallStreetApes A chopped sirloin is burger formed into a steak shape. Don’t know if that’s it though, just looks gross
@WallStreetApes For some reason people now just believe anything on the internet....again 😂
@WallStreetApes The steaks I buy just look different than what they used too. They remind me of a bunch of pieces of meat pushed together and they have this horribly tough, thick fat layer on one side that is pretty heavy, which just adds weight and cost the consumer more for waste
@WallStreetApes Doesn't this happen if you let the steak sit in the sous vide for longer than like 2-3 hours? Not sure that's what's going on here, but it could be these steaks were just sitting "cooking" for too long.
@WallStreetApes Being she stated there was a funky smell I would suspect this meat was deteriorated. Maybe not smelling rotten or masked by spices and au jus.
@WallStreetApes I usually buy organic chicken for my family but non organic for my dogs. I noticed the chicken breast came apart in pieces like it was pressed together.
@WallStreetApes the customer smeared refried beans on the meat???
@WallStreetApes I NEVER eat at restaurants. Food safety like this is one reason as is cleanliness. Anyone who’s ever worked in a restaurant knows what I’m talking about. How many people don’t wash their hands?
@WallStreetApes Isn't this illegal to not disclose the use of this stuff while also claiming to be selling cuts of meat?
@WallStreetApes This is one hundred percent not true,I worked there for a long time and they cut their own steaks in house, all of them.
