TCS was given responsibility of Cyber security for Jaguar LangRover and TCS failed badly which resulted huge losses for JLR. TCS maintaining platform for MCX and now MCX down 3rd time in 4 months. MCX is a big exchange for commodities and is not a joke. What TCS is doing??

@InvestorOfJAMMU During my job time in TCS , our clients was UK bank. We Had 3 DR site , one in same city , one in Different state and one in outside India also.

@Keval_IM Great

@InvestorOfJAMMU Not working 70-90hrs a week is the only possible explanation for the failure 🤣

@shahsamkit 😅😅

@InvestorOfJAMMU Hiring ppl for 3 LPA quality engineers, what do you expect?

@InvestorOfJAMMU What’s more alarming: MCX hasn't been able to resume trading via their Disaster Recovery (DR) site, a backup system used in case of primary server disruptions.

@InvestorOfJAMMU The same thing that infosys is doing with income tax and uidai websites.

@im_Mogambo Exactly

@InvestorOfJAMMU TCS also runs UAE commodity exchanges with its prosperity trading softwares similar to MCX 🤕

@Hemant_ITPro Volumes must be very low there

@InvestorOfJAMMU I’ve worked personally with TCS contractors, and let me tell you, they have one or two persons in a large team with some intermediate subject matter expertise, while the rest are basically novices being trained. I saw a TCS resource brought into one of the Asian regional offices

@InvestorOfJAMMU Stuck in the glory days of 2000s and 2010s, when mediocre software was also valuable. In the age of AI, Quality is everything. Our Mediocre companies don't have the culture of excellence.

@InvestorOfJAMMU From a software and system design perspective, these repeated high-profile failures suggest systemic issues in their deployment strategies or perhaps insufficient resource allocation to stability testing.

@InvestorOfJAMMU Outages and breaches aren’t always just vendor failures — they often reveal how ecosystem complexity has outpaced traditional controls. Instead of pointing fingers, the focus should be on shared accountability and continuous monitoring. Cybersecurity is a journey, not a checkbox.

@InvestorOfJAMMU It is a miracle @TCS employees can pick their nose and walk without stubbing their toe’s at the same time.

@InvestorOfJAMMU They are firing employees, because management was waiting for Ratan Tata to pass and then they do what they wanted to do since ages.

@InvestorOfJAMMU TCS owned by Tata and jlr owned by Tata… one is a sweatshop of cheap it labour and other is an insignificant car company no one cares.. it has now even become woke too …

@InvestorOfJAMMU Work life balance

@InvestorOfJAMMU Have you ever met the average or heck above average TCS engineer? I think the entire company should be called "Retarded Engineers Co"

@InvestorOfJAMMU there's immense skill gap between market needs and what company has. nobody gives a fuck about how well they're doing their job, all are running behind a checklist for billing underskilled workforce is secondary problem, primary problem is misaligned goals of middle management,

@InvestorOfJAMMU Only Body shopping and making revenue out of commissions of those shopping !!

@InvestorOfJAMMU They had created the income tax portal, and it was a total nightmare. Infosys also hasn't done a very good job, sadly. The workflows are not well thought out, the UI is choppy, and the overall experience is very poor. Infra and scalability are a whole different issue.

@InvestorOfJAMMU TCS used to set industry standards. Now it’s setting downtime records. JLR’s cyber mess ✅ MCX crash hat-trick ✅ Still no patch for corporate overconfidence. Maybe instead of 70-hour weeks, they should try 7 hours of actual debugging. 💻☕

@InvestorOfJAMMU TCS is busy laying off employees 😀

@InvestorOfJAMMU @TCS is seriously a 3rd class service provider compared to even in domestic market. At many occasions their poor management and quality of work failed badly causing million losses and data compromise. We need to get away with Indian mentality of doing work "Sab Chalta Hai"

@InvestorOfJAMMU Don't you know? They are busy Firing Ppl.

@InvestorOfJAMMU A person with decent knowledge with 3yrs of experience will outright reject TCS 15 Years TLs, Managers in interview. Only bootlickers, those get along with various groups will get positions in TCS, not those with talent, fate of such companies is dissappearing slowly.

@InvestorOfJAMMU Smoking weed. Not joking litterally, their engineers are smoking weed.

@InvestorOfJAMMU Working 18 hours a day

@InvestorOfJAMMU Due to margin pressure, these companies project freshers in the name of bulge and rotate out experienced resources to new wins. Quality suffers as experienced hands who know the systems well move out.

@InvestorOfJAMMU Tcs has mastered L2 support model. Hardcore Dev projects are not their forte (except few teams who might have super talented individuals)
