@1ofAgnesDigital Sometimes I say to cheval fans or kitasan fans “I hate you!!!” With a cheval image, and then they say “but why” and I have a small feeling that they didn’t exactly watch season 3….

@1ofAgnesDigital Season 2 is for me personally better overall and has more emotionally pay off. But s3 had a nice somber feeling to it and one of coming to terms with the future. Making the most of the prime they have for racing. It’s still a worth while watch and Kitasan black is still a good

@1ofAgnesDigital Don't roast me for this, but I think season 3 is the weakest of the Spicaverse. It was lacking emotional moments unlike in season 1 and 2 for me. Plus Kitasan Black is a very successful horse.

@1ofAgnesDigital There's so many highs in Season 3, but it is really bogged down by rather weird pacing and the way some characters fizzle out of the story or feel left behind. Of course, it often reflects the real life horses, but it does feel awkward in the anime.
@1ofAgnesDigital People look down on S3 because S2 ended in such an amazingly high note, with Teio against all odds winning her final race, while Kitasan’s tale was that of an athlete learning to cope with the reality of reaching her peak and deciding when to retire, nowhere near as uplifting.

@1ofAgnesDigital It really is kinda unfortunate bc holy sht the ovas, movies and CG are so insanely tight with pacing, emotional beats, story/ character arcs and it felt like out of all the more modern uma seasons, s3 kinda felt underwhelming. Still not bad by any, just everything else is amazing
