Are we passing the Turing test for voice? https://x.com/krandiash/status...

@krandiash Eleven labs has vast collection of different voices. Need that in Cartesia.

@suroorwijdan working on it, any particular voices that you like?

@krandiash Does it speak Spanish?

@samagsii yes it does! check it out here: https://cartesia.ai/languages/...

@krandiash You are winning, i can say that

@LShivkumarreddy thank you Shiva

@krandiash Trying it today. Does it speak Hindi?

@withhimu yes it does! we have 9 Indian languages - Hindi included

@krandiash Hey I commented sonic on your other post, can I get the doc๐Ÿ™

@NathenFernandes yes we're working on it! has been a lot more than we expected

@krandiash If you have to benchmark, why not Eleven Labs v3?

@AniketSawant312 it's not streaming so can't be used for realtime voice

@krandiash A more fair comparison would be with Elevenlabs v3 not flash

@jesse_okeya v3 isn't streaming so not available for realtime

@krandiash I tried the Italian voice, but I wasn't thrilled with it. Unfortunately, many pronunciations are incorrect. I hope you can do a better job! If you need an Italian, I'm here :)

@metaforismoo mind sharing feedback on support at cartesia dot ai โ€” to help us improve it quickly

@krandiash Hey Karan, Congratulations on your $100M funding. Quick question: Are you also planning to train a voice to talk to kids 4-5 years of age, sometime soon? https://x.com/hov8a/status/178...

@hov8a Yes! What are you thinking? You should be able to build something pretty cool already!

@krandiash Congratulations! Is there support for Arabic voices too?

@krandiash if your mom canโ€™t spot the difference on a phone call, weโ€™re already past the event horizon.

@krandiash good at sound, bad at silence

@krandiash this is the best it has ever been

@krandiash I feel there is still work needs to be done on Pitch modulation. Some places it sounds more monotonous. Though I am sure you guys will get there. But definitely miles ahead of Elevenlabs.

@krandiash You solved the voice. This should be the voice for the machine

@krandiash have tried it. Great job

@krandiash I think the answer to this one is a strong yes!

@krandiash Super sick Karan ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€

@krandiash So cool ๐Ÿ”ฅ

@krandiash Yoo impressive

@krandiash Sounds like we're making some serious strides! Excited to see how close we've gotten.

@krandiash insane quality tuff
