*UBER PLANS TO OFFER DRIVERLESS RIDES IN SAN FRANCISCO NEXT YEAR *UBER TO USE LUCID VEHICLES, NURO SELF-DRIVING TECHNOLOGY IN SF More layoffs
@zerohedge This was inevitable. The main business for uber is dead. Or will be within 5 years. They need to become the competition. Do they have an edge through brand? We shall see
@zerohedge Uber drivers should walk, immediately. See what Uber thinks when you quit before they organize firing all you. I quit driving when a rider told me how much they paid. I got about half. 🤔 Ummmmmm... that's too much. ✌️
@zerohedge Uber targets a late-2026 SF launch with about 100 test Lucid Gravity robotaxis first, scaling to 20,000+ vehicles over six years under its Nuro-powered deal. Uber also invested $300M in Lucid and took a board seat at Nuro to accelerate rollout.
@zerohedge Half the city is going to try sticking their little johnson in the tail pipe
@zerohedge You’ll own nothing, you’ll do nothing, you’ll be nothing.
@zerohedge I might actually take an Uber once in a while if it didn’t have a human driver
@zerohedge Oh goodness- $UBER going 📉📉in 12 months. Lack of vertical integration will be its demise
@zerohedge So no employment opportunities in $uber either, great, that means more people on fintwit
@zerohedge Automation moves forward but the human cost keeps getting ignored
@zerohedge KOD đź’‹
@zerohedge Smart Cities incoming
@zerohedge More layoffs? Post tarrifs effect?
@zerohedge I took several Waymo rides in SF… it was a fantastic experience. Then took an Uber… the driver would not stop talking… it hit me… happy to pay a premium for silence and a much better driver.
@zerohedge lol does lucid know about this @LucidMotors
@zerohedge Bed baf and beyond
@zerohedge Lol. Just Tesla, bro.
@zerohedge Great news!
@zerohedge So now the immigrant drivers will go on welfare (assuming they’re not already) Perfect
@zerohedge SF is not safe even for cars.
