See my questioning below as I try to understand the sharp rise in asylum claims, where people are entering the country, and why we need a system that is fair, firm, and functional . One that actually serves those fleeing horrific situations.

🛂 If the state can’t manage the process, confidence erodes for everyone both applicants and the public. We must stop turning public crises into private profit. 🚨 Just 25 accommodation providers have received over €2 billion in recent years.

If we want real solutions, we have to start asking harder questions and be willing to talk about them as a country.

@albertdolan_ You also need to ask questions about how legal migration is exacerbating the housing disaster?

@albertdolan_ We all know the real reasons. Find a problem where 8/10 applicants will be refused and ensure that it takes years to refuse each one so that the public purse can ransacked and funnelled to your own friends through accomodation, food, lawyer services etc. everyone in on the scam
