Had over 1,000 hours in New World when I quit back in 2023. It was rough back then. Awkward patches, tons of game and server destroying bugs, and weird communication from support and Amazon. Drove me and many others away sometimes permanently. I heard very good things about

@PirateSoftware I dont even think this is just a "it's not sustainable anymore" issue, ESO has had a third of the player base and they call it a success. IMO this is just a AI game slop is cheaper to maintain and will make more money than MMOs kinda thing... Sad day for gaming as a whole

@PirateSoftware its not just New World that's dead, but from what i've heard AGS as a whole is gone. the linkedin page for AGS is apparently gone. just to be replaced by AI as the reports have been saying in articles.
