I hate to make this kind of post, I feel like such a buzzkill, but seeing so many major publications report on such a flimsy rumour doesn't sit right with me. There is no Crash Netflix Series in production. This post does a good job of explaining the actual facts (1/4)
The initial report came from the site 'What's On Netflix' which is an unofficial fan site. Many people mistook it as being an official outlet. Wildbrain immediately denied any involvement in the project - this should throw the whole report into question (2/4)
Many other publications are essentially parroting what this site said, no one is really digging deeper to find out where this info came from and how accurate it actually is. As the information spreads it creates a false sense of legitimacy as more people start to believe it (3/4)
I would love to be wrong! But we all know how these things go. Wait for REAL, OFFICIAL confirmation. (4/4)
@crapbandicoot @MarioSonicPro1 It really did feel too good to be true
@crapbandicoot Well darn, i'm quite disappointed. 😞
@crapbandicoot This is exactly what I’ve been telling people. There is so much false information online this is likely just a rumor and not fact. I don’t want to be the buzzkill either. I would love a Crash animated series. However, I’m trying to be realistic too so I’m not let down.
The former actually happened already
I can't wait for 2026
