@cqcqcqdx What's going on in this picture? @grok

@cqcqcqdx Speaking as someone totally guessing, those look like the air pads packaging that is for safe travel of parts that would need to be removed before use, right? As they would obstruct any airflow?

@cqcqcqdx My phone (Pixel 7) has been swollen for about 3-4 months and lives in my pocket. I refuse to buy more electronic crap that doesn't last until it bursts into flames. @GooglePixel_US

@cqcqcqdx The last time I replaced batteries in a laptop, the battery was blown just like that. As I removed the battery, it started to cook off. As you can imagine, I rushed it outside. Luckily, it stopped before before catching on fire, but it did leave behind a bit of toxic smoke. 🤣 In

@cqcqcqdx uh, bro, is this a bomb?? I have 0 explosives training and idk, this looks bombish to me.

@cqcqcqdx Try popping them with a metal screw driver to release the pressure

@cqcqcqdx First it started with my trackpad not working anymore, then it looked like this before I replaced my battery.

@cqcqcqdx This repair 🧑‍🔧 is quite satisfying to do. I’ve done tons of them, for various reasons, not just battery expansion. I enjoyed every one of them. 🦾

@cqcqcqdx Those are the bladders for the water cooling system.

@cqcqcqdx I’d like to see some statistical data actually. Is this an issue with all mobile device batteries? I had three MacBook Pro from 5 over the last ten years do that. Every single time they were just out of warranty of course. In one case it was so bad, it was also a new logic

@cqcqcqdx Hi. 10 Year Genius here. I quit back in April. The ONE 2015 15” MacBook Pro that spontaneously combusted was found to have been stored improperly and mishandled. Apple issued a safety recall nonetheless. A swollen battery is not that big of a deal and is not terrifying at all.

@cqcqcqdx Some nice spicy pillows you have there

@cqcqcqdx My old phone that I use for music out in the garage. It's still plugged in lol

@cqcqcqdx I think it's hilarious how context can turn a simple picture into a whole thriller movie. My opinion is that it just makes life more interesting, finding the story behind the stillness.

@cqcqcqdx Putting this on a flag during the next crusade

@cqcqcqdx Are these bloated batteries I see here, or are you just excited to see me…

@cqcqcqdx ”Why is my MacBook wobbly”

@cqcqcqdx Holy crap… imagine if this guy decided to fly with this laptop

@cqcqcqdx Oh nice the airbags deployed for a safe landing.

@cqcqcqdx Oh dear Lord. Please remove this from the vicinity of anything and everything wooden or flammable. 🤦🏻‍♂️

@cqcqcqdx I’ve had enough Samsung phones to know what this means.

@cqcqcqdx this is clearly the inflatable life vest for the laptop

@cqcqcqdx comfy pillow batteries. refurbish an old laptop into a cozy little head rest ☺️

@cqcqcqdx How did you mod your laptop with soft cushions for your legs? Does that make it more comfortable?

@cqcqcqdx Jesus! batteries about to pop.

@cqcqcqdx Them some spicy burritos you got there!

@cqcqcqdx Those batteries are very close to being explosives.

@cqcqcqdx Imagine learning the hard way what these are for post apocalypse.

@cqcqcqdx takes a lot of work to set off all the airbags in a laptop...

@cqcqcqdx You don't need to keep the smoke inside your laptop batteries. That's just an old wives tale.

@cqcqcqdx I've had a tech unscrew my MPB and the lid immediately popped open due to the batteries looking like this. He just said he's not touching it and shipped it off to Apple to deal with.

@cqcqcqdx I've changed my battery out 3 times on my 2014MBP. She's still kicking. She's been through 3 screens too.

@cqcqcqdx Just need to poke them with a nail to let the air out. 😏

@cqcqcqdx the lithium ions yearn for the air

@cqcqcqdx Love the pillows. Is this the plush laptop version?
