hey @gjkooijman, you had mentioned a few months ago that more broadcasters (excluding the netherlands, slovenia, ireland, spain, iceland and belgium) could potentially boycott next year if israel continued participating.
now i understand that due to the recent (and quite frankly flimsy) ceasefire, the ebu has cancelled their vote originally scheduled in november and moved it to the general assembly next month, have these broadcasters similarly flaked out too or no? feel free to dm me if you like
@antifataylorjoy I think currently a lot of those broadcasters are awaiting the official phrasing/agenda point for the General Assembly and to see the report from the independent investigator before they decide what their stance is.
@gjkooijman ah ok, got it. but also, from what i have heard the nordic broadcasters met up/might meet up and (maybe except denmark) could form their own boycott bloc. (1)
