🚨BREAKING: Cursor 2.0 just dropped and it's absolutely terrifying. The AI coding tool that went from zero to $9.9 billion in months just released features that will make human programmers obsolete. WHAT JUST HAPPENED: → Cursor 2.0 launched with crazy features: - New

@dashboardlim So they gave cursor the same agent and git tree tools as Claude code and now it’s ā€œfasterā€ then Claude code as long as you don’t do the same thing with Claude code? šŸ˜‚

@metx_mike True, they all have their strengths. Best approach is using the right tool for each specific task.

@dashboardlim Developers who learn orchestration, workflow design, and multi-agent coordination are going to dominate. Cursor 2.0 is showing what the next generation of software development looks like.

@the_longer_game Orchestration and system design matter way more than typing speed. The fundamentals still win.

@dashboardlim I doubt that speed of agencies will be so much boosted. Progress is so huge that marginal gain could be relatively high, but low in absolute value. No ? Time of marketing and selling ideas/apps is the bottleneck. Not backend or frontends shit

@Antoine27717050 You're right that speed alone doesn't guarantee better outcomes. The real test is whether faster iteration leads to better products or just more half-baked ideas.

@dashboardlim Why are you comparing against gpt-4? Why don't you compare it to Llama 2 as well? Really show how good it is...

@dashboardlim It gets scary for you, traditional developers are gonna have a blast with this

@dashboardlim It was breaking last week mate

@dashboardlim the developers who master the conductor role will absolutely outcompete everyone else by a factor of 10.

@dashboardlim The game isn’t writing code faster. It’s coordinating AI teams better than humans ever could. Cursor 2.0 replacing dev teams

@dashboardlim You are saying that Composer is faster than Claude? Sonnet 4.5 ? Are you sure about that?

@dashboardlim How do I prevent the Cursor AI agent from generating hundreds of .md files in my project?

@dashboardlim Breaking? This was last week's news, wtf

@dashboardlim Agree, I gave up on cursor during the v1, but tried the 2.0 and cannot go without it now, it just works great. Of course there are still quite some revisions to make, etc, but overall the experience is much better.

@dashboardlim I found a bug tho

@dashboardlim Love Cursor but I deeply despise these kind of posts.

@dashboardlim Highly impressed with it so far.

@dashboardlim Just cancelled for Claude Code Max, "The King"

@dashboardlim Lian, you're right, Cursor 2.0 sounds scary, but will AI really replace all programmers, I wonder?

@dashboardlim Breaking??? It was out last week and it's not as amazing as you say. They now have agents running in a sandbox and have removed ssh/scp functions. Rolled back straight away.

@dashboardlim You are a bit late, buddy.

@dashboardlim Please use it to make a AutoCAD/3dsMax clone that is lightweight and fast, and does not turn your super powerful gaming laptop into a frying pan

@dashboardlim What 2.0 already 😱😱 who ever denies exponential acceleration is blind or ignorant

@dashboardlim It'll make your mom obsolete.

@dashboardlim Why would anyone care about a comparative benchmark for programming against gpt-4? Go 5, or go home.

@dashboardlim Incredible work the cursor team is doing

@dashboardlim Terrifying or inevitable? The real question: who's building with Cursor vs just watching from the sidelines?

@dashboardlim When AI writes code faster than humans can type, maybe the real revolution isn't replacement but reimagining what programming can become

@dashboardlim sounds wild
