So basically, after doing a perfect 360 with Kovaak’s tool and having zero error in momentum, the aim is still way off when start shooting. This needs to be fixed immediately and should be a high priority. Credit to @dashhPC Dev: @_jjju_ @DRUNKKZ3 @tiggr_ @EA_DICE
@lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE We are looking into it. I don't think it's a bug that we are looking at though, recoil essentially is "added" to your aim input so if you move your aim against the recoil, it will feel more sluggish, if you move your aim with the recoil, it will accelerate it.
@Kreeped @DRUNKKZ3 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE Bug or not it shouldn’t be like that. Most the good players liked the post that I tried to show the problem in. We all good players in fps games and we all have good aim. That problem right there it’s manipulate your aim. And it should give constant aim sense. If I want some
@SilkOCE @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE I'm maybe poorly explaining this as there are some aspects of how input/camera/weapon aim point/recoil interface that are a bit bit hard to put in simple tweets. This is something we're looking at though so I'm sure we'll have more to share soon enough 🙂
@DRUNKKZ3 @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE The level of comms from you guys is so night and day compared to certain other shooters. I know you get a lot of hate for some things, but I just want to say overall how much sane people actually greatly appreciate the comms. Keep up the excellent work
@TrueGameData @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE Appreciated! We unfortunately can't reply to all feedback and bugs call-out as it takes time, but we're seeing everything and doing our best to address things as fast as possible. For a big game little Battlefield that is quite an undertaking given how much needs to be tested 😄
@DRUNKKZ3 @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE It's fine if the recoil shifts my reticle to the opposite direction of where I'm aiming, but I don't think it should feel like it's overriding my input. For example I compensate by pulling to the opposite side as the horizontal recoil kicks, but it feels like my input was ignored
@2ndAugustino @DRUNKKZ3 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE Thissssssssss
@DRUNKKZ3 @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE I haven’t played, so forgive my ignorance, but shouldn’t all recoil reset on its own if there’s no player input? So if I pull down for vertical recoil, i end up looking lower than where I started & in the 360 example it should always return to the starting point?
@TailoFPS @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE It could, that's how BF3 behaved if I remember correctly but it also means that you'll have to re-adjust quite a lot after firing for extended durations. Camera and Weapon recoils much differently now than how things used to work so that's some extra parameters to handle.
@DRUNKKZ3 @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE I'd like to see the previous patch of ADS bug fixed first to see how it feels after. I, too, have had issues tracking because of this. I understand the underlying concept of what was went for but with the two combined it feels really bad. Incremental changes to test is better.
@bigwood62 @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE Yeah I understand, I don't expect that things will feel different because what we are fixing in the next updates is related to dispersion, not recoil.
@Sohsuhh @lql_00 @IsolatedHQ @dashhPC @_jjju_ @tiggr_ @EA_DICE I can't speak for everything in detail but many of our systems have fundamentally changed from where they've been before for BF6 (because they had to), even 2042 changed quite a lot from BFV etc... They often can't be just perfectly converted.
