“Yea, thus we see that the gate of heaven is open unto all, even to those who will believe on the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God.” - Helaman 3:28
@BookMormon2day I got the same thing from read just the New Testament how is this different
@DawsonD_34 The Bible and the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ work together.
@BookMormon2day Respectfully no, Alma 7:10 says he was born in Jerusalem but he was born in Bethlehem, alma 46:13 says Christian were called Christian’s before Christ 72-72 BC, and D&C 130:22 is a complete contradiction to everything said In the New Testament.
@DawsonD_34 Alma 7:10 does NOT say he was born "in Jerusalem." The difference matters.
@BookMormon2day Then was Jerusalem all of Judaea cause then why didn’t he say he was born in Judaea and not just in Jerusalem and you skipped over my other claims
@DawsonD_34 Using a verse that says they were first called Christians in Antioch as proof that the word Christian wasn't used anywhere else in the world doesn't really make a ton of sense. How would they have known what people on another continent 5,000 miles away were saying? They didn't
@BookMormon2day The Book of Mormon says 72-73 bc that’s years before Christ why would anybody be called Christian’s if Christ wasn’t born yet
@DawsonD_34 That's one of the reasons why the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ is so important. The prophet Jacob, who lived around 500 BC gave a small sermon about their knowledge of Christ in Jacob chapter 4. This is a small excerpt: "For, for this intent have we written
@BookMormon2day @DawsonD_34 To our enemies, the Greek language did not exist until Jesus Christ was born lol
