6 essential picks for a GW11 Wildcard 💥 FREE to read 👇 https://www.lazyfpl.com/p/game...

On a Wildcard this week? Here's my best GW11 draft 🔥 https://www.fantasyfootballhub...

Q) Best Gyokeres replacements? Latest reports suggest a return before GW12’s North London Derby is unlikely. While it is described as a “niggle,” the combination of his price + possible decrease in xMins when Havertz returns means this is a good opportunity to move him on.

Mateta stands out as the most direct replacement. Palace are top of the league for xG, and Mateta is second only to Haaland for xGi. He is nailed, in form, and has great fixtures. The confidence and rhythm around Palace make him a simple and reliable move.

If you already own both Haaland and Mateta, then Guiu makes perfect sense. He is mainly a bench option who frees up funds to strengthen midfield, which is especially useful if you have already used your Bench Boost.

Moving to a 3-5-2 allows investment in Saka, who should now be Arsenal’s primary penalty taker in Gyokeres’ absence. With a lack of appealing forwards available, the structure shift to 3-5-2 is sensible.

Q) Should JoĂŁo Pedro be considered? The next two fixtures v Wolves and Burnley are good, and after his goal at the weekend he is back in the conversation. He was being mass sold last week but there is a reasonable case to hold or buy short term.

I still would not go there, personally. There are very few forwards who appeal, so selling JoĂŁo Pedro later when the fixtures turn could become a problem. The flexibility gained from going cheaper is more valuable.

Q) Thiago an option? Decent value, but Brentford’s fixtures are tough, with Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle in the next five. Hard to justify bringing him in when the short-term schedule works against him.

Q) Welbeck? The recent form and fixtures are encouraging, but long-term reliability is uncertain with fixture congestion on the horizon. Minutes could become inconsistent, which makes him a short-term play rather than a stable replacement.

Q) Any priority transfers this week? If you own Gyokeres, he is the main transfer out. Saka as the default Arsenal attacker of choice has to be the obvious transfer in. Beyond that, it is a fairly manageable week so saving a transfer is a strong play with the break coming up.

Liverpool, Bournemouth and Man United all have big fixture swings from GW12. Having extra free transfers going into that period will give you flexibility to target those players at the right time instead of forcing moves now.

Q) Double Arsenal defence + Saka or triple Arsenal defence? I prefer Saka + double Arsenal defence. There are plenty of good value defenders for the third slot, but very few midfielders who match Saka’s reliability, security of minutes and routes to points.

Q) What to do with Reijnders? He should still be first choice, but the fixtures are not great and minutes could come under pressure with congestion coming up. He is a sell for me.

Minteh is the best replacement. At 6.0m, he is one of the few Brighton attackers nailed for minutes, direct and explosive, and he does not go to AFCON. Brighton’s upcoming fixtures are strong, making him a great mid-term hold and an ideal Reijnders replacement.

Q) Best (c)? This week needs a bit more thought. Haaland is my current pick given his form, the home fixture and how vulnerable Liverpool’s defence has looked. Saka vs Sunderland and Enzo vs Wolves are also strong alternatives, both on penalties and with kinder fixtures.

Q) Best Gordon replacements? My first pick is Enzo Fernández. He is likely on penalties with Palmer out, has strong short-term fixtures vs Wolves + Burnley, and his underlying numbers suggest more returns are coming. If you already own Enzo, my second pick would be Minteh.

@BigManBakar Great post. Which midfielder would you sell to make the Gyokeres to Saka switch?

@uppie_keepie Stach for me

@BigManBakar Start one from Doku - Reijnders - Andersen ?

@BigManBakar hi i’ve got 3 ft and i’m 0.1 short of doing Gyokeres and Stach to Saka and Guiu i could potentialy find this 0.1 by doing Rodon to Esteve or Richards to Van Hecke would you go for any of those players to allow Saka or roll to 4 ft and sell Ndiaye to Minteh next gw but lose some $

@BigManBakar What if cannot afford Saka should I move to Mbeumo instead?

@BigManBakar I need to sell Gjokeres....ideally want Guiu and Saka in for Stach. But I still my bench boost. What would you recommend?
