The whole “AI is a bubble” shit is so vapid and devoid of integrity that it’s truly laughable. Let’s dissect the layers… A thread, by Pauly0x. 🧵 (Save this, cuz I am a globally disruptive force and this will get 100% get censored. Also, I am building the future of this.)
First of all, let’s get the important part out of the way. NO ONE is using AI. Full stop. What you are using is called an LLM. It means large language model. VCs want you to call it AI, because it sounds fancier and it is better branding (aka corporate propaganda/marketing.)
So when you use the term “AI” you are actually talking about something that is not AI at all. See? You have already been brainwashed by the corporate machine. Stop calling it AI! AI is Artificial intelligence. Choose YOUR words. Don’t let a corporation dictate them for you.
So is anyone actually using Artificial Intelligence right now? On an individual basis, the answer is practically 0%. The answer is NO. Artificial Intelligence is however, being used by large industries & corporations. Here are some good examples of real world AI applications:
AI: NOT chat-based, NOT public-facing, embedded w/in systems, exclusively used by megacorps, large industries, military. AI perceives, decides, predicts, moves, or controls. 🧠 LLM: visible, accessible, easy to interact w. Ex: chat based, intuitive, retard proof. LLMs talk. 🗣️
Now, let’s move on to the bubble aspect of this. Let’s start with the question: “Is AI a bubble?” The answer is 100% YES. Just like the dotcom boom. But was the internet a bubble? NO. The internet does not = dotcom stock mania. Similarly: AI does not = AI investment craze.
In conclusion: YES. AI is in a bubble because every company is slapping “AI” on products for hype, investment & stock price optics. But the tech isn’t a fad — LLMs and real AI capabilities are foundational, like the internet. The marketing is inflated; the impact is permanent.
