China has found its first 1,000-tonne standalone gold deposit in northeast China's Liaoning Province. The deposit has a proven gold ore reserve of 2.586 billion tonnes, containing 1,444.49 tonnes of gold metal, with an average grade of 0.56 grams per tonne.
