Great stuff at the ILP team's latest workshop in Tokyo. It's now clear how #Interledger will connect the world's payment systems -- driving the Internet of Value.

@ascelan @Ripple It *can't* be dirt cheap. That doesn't make any sense. If XRP costs $1, they'd need a million XRP which would cost $1 million. If XRP cost a million dollars, they'd need one XRP which would, again, cost $1 million. 1/2

@ascelan @Ripple Except that higher prices make payments cheaper. Right now, you can buy a million dollar house with bitcoins. When bitcoins where $300, it would move the market too much and be too expensive to be practical. So higher prices make payments cheaper. 2/2

@JoelKatz @MackAttackXRP @ascelan @Ripple I agree with @JoelKatz …. Higher is better. Let’s go #XRP

@JoelKatz @Fame21Moore @ascelan @Ripple I think when people say XRP can't be so cheap they mean the future XRP because of all the use cases which would need more liquidity. Higher price = More liquidity Based on the info the well informed XRP followers have seen, they've already attached immense amount of value to it.

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple I'm assuming this is still relevant since you liked it again 5 years later! Gotcha, Boss. πŸ˜‰

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple I assume XRP at a higher value reduces volatility, making it attractive for settlements. Especially if all the world’s money flows through the ledger!

@JoelKatz @Ripple 2/2. This would explode or crash a retail coin. XRP needs to be at a high price so transaction cost remains low for institutions. The institutions will buy a ton at a low price and when the switch is flipped (adoption) the price will moon. Institutions win $$

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple Just tell us this at least.. are we on to something or are we all crazy. 😫

@JoelKatz @Ripple This didn't age well

@JoelKatz @Ripple Let's get back to basics...

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple Hi @JoelKatz hoping you could confirm whether the evolution in ODL and XRPL means the higher price is no longer necessary? It seems a lot of influencers are still quoting this tweet but it seems to me like they do not understand ODL, or am I wrong?

@JoelKatz @Ripple Once the SEC lawsuit ends, XRP institutional volume will explode. The volume will not be consistent which is the value of XRP - settlements in under 5 seconds. Billions and eventually trillions of $ will be on and off in under 5 seconds. 1/2

@JoelKatz @Ripple and then came stablecoins

@JoelKatz @Ripple Wow!! That means!!

@JoelKatz @Ripple Xrp buyback ?

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple This is absolutely true... and also for XRP investors :D

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple Next move is not to make crypto a shadow shadow shadow bank, it is to get visa every visa card owner a option, they have the patent, make a visa digital identifikation app and make it connect a wallet to any visa.

@JoelKatz @Ripple Hey David, if someone wants to send $80 billion in a single transaction and XRP is priced at $1, would they need 80 billion XRP to do it?

@JoelKatz @Ripple When does this *can’t* apply because it is dirt cheap? $XRP

@JoelKatz @Ripple It is a deflationary assets class i.e token burn over any txn happen on the ledger. Think of derivatives and tokenize all the real world assets like property gold silver and run it on the ledger .Now think of the price you get. Its value will increase over time as mentioned above

@JoelKatz @MoltMoney @Ripple It doesn't make sense because you're not getting it.. try using an AI program like CHATGPT OR GROK AI And ask either of them to "explain it to you In layman's terms".. bottom line the higher the price, the more efficient it becomes

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple Im holder 2018 , and im stay hire 07/2022 ..GBU david

@JoelKatz @Ripple If you're paying one million dollars for one xrp just so you can move one million dollars how is that cost effective?? Wouldn't that be like spending 1 million to transfer one million??? πŸ€”πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

@JoelKatz @Ripple What gets me about this response.... Is that it's implying that the price can be set at will πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„ Send it to 1 million, David πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

@JoelKatz @cowboycrypto313 @ascelan @Ripple Wait why is 2017 post resurfacing just now πŸ€”

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple Does 1 Drop= 1 Satoshi?

@JoelKatz @ascelan @Ripple System isn't working right? Good for $10 payments only?

@JoelKatz @Ripple Day 1 of asking @JoelKatz if he regrets this statement and how misconstrued it is in the XRP community.

@JoelKatz @Ripple So does this logic even apply any more not that you have a #RLUSD

@JoelKatz @Ripple 7years same haha

@JoelKatz @Ripple Presumably the cost must reflect the transaction value to provide liquidity for the transaction which may last several seconds, how many XRP will most likely depend on the transaction value and the circulating supply and availability.

@JoelKatz @Ripple It is dirt cheap. Doesn’t matter what you say, David the Crypto Clown

@JoelKatz @Ripple @JoelKatz Is this still true?

@JoelKatz @Ripple To sum it up, @JoelKatz just said, xrp will be 1 dollar and no more
