To first talk about Lucifer I have to explain the context of all of his events starting from the very start. It's going to be really long but knowing the context of everything makes all the information later on make sense.

Lucifer was first added in shinbaha in an anniversary event from August 31st 2013, the second anniversary in the game. The event was called "導きの妖精姫と世界救う剣"" (The Guiding Fairy princess and the world saving sword(?)) You're first met with Aria, Fairy Princess.

Aria warns you that Lucifer is trying to steal weapons with 聖霊力 (spiritual power)? and offer them to the Altar of Life in Mystarsia, while the weapons and their power are good in nature,this power can be used to destroy the world which is primarily Lucifer's goal.

Then you're shown Lucifer, in a rather generic first impression "My brethen, we who were exiled from heaven, it's time to take our revenge on the world" Lucifer then tells his Fallen Angel subordinates; Azazel, Xephon, Egregori, Samael, to slaughter everyone and everything.

"復讐と殺戮の快楽に溺れるがいい"

Afterwards, you're met with people who will help you (aside from aria) that currently keep some of these weapons. There's Mei, a forest elf. Roger, a pirate and Feena-chang☆.

Most of the event is pretty much unironically "collect all holy weapons before Lucifer does" while meeting characters from different factions as the weapons are hidden is different places.

One is in an ice castle guarded by Crystalians, One is in a forest of elves, One is being captive by goblins (which Lucius is hunting and later gives it to you after killing the goblins), One is with the gods (Valhalla with Odin) and one of course is in the Manaria academy.

Going to get the weapons isn't easy and Lucifer catches up fast so he's usually in the places before everyone else is. What he does during most of the event is taunt everyone. "Why do you keep clinging on to life?" "Why would you want this world to still exist?"

Because I'm real nice and because the current in-game memorial doesn't keep voices for really old events, I took it upon myself to datamine all the quest lines lucifer says during this event. At the very least, they're not many in pt1 but there's also pt2 to datamine.

Vs Skadi This is towards Feena, he taunts her by saying "Do you really know what it means to protect?" if she's really willing to throw away her life for it. About how death is painful and sorrowful.

Vs Zain Towards Aria, he says if she's basically using the knight as a tool. Humans, Gods and Demons are all different so he can't understand why would they cooperate.

He then tells the knight that he believes Aria too much, that one day will come and he will realize that all those factions are truly different. Humans, Gods and Demons can't cooperate with one another as the difference of power between them is too much.

Vs Goblin King For Roger, he tells him that the knight's mission is binding him, he who usually lives in freedom. And basically tempting Roger to abandon the mission. Roger doesn't really care either way, he'll follow the knight.

(In the correct order, the Knight comes first then Mei, but I will post what he says towards her then the knight last as it's more impactful that way)

Vs Living Mail For Mei, he mostly taunts her by lowkey telling her she's useless. "Are you really necessary?" "Aren't you doing something because everyone is expecting you to do so?".

Vs Fenrir And towards the knight, he says if he's really willing to fight for mystarsia. This stupid world in where humans, gods and demons are always constantly fighting.

Even after taunting him, Lucifer's surprised that the Knight's will doesn't change even after knowing his impeding doom. He also says "I was waiting for somebody like you".

Now, towards the ending, once everyone got the holy weapons Lucifer shows up to fight them and to show him their strength. "To having met humans with such power...what meaning do you find in the survival of this world?

Lucifer gets defeated and compliments the Knight's strength and the knight alone, so instead he directs a killing blow towards Feena and Co. The Knight jumps in to defend them, leaving him fatally wounded.

While everyone's busy unable to believe that the knight is going to die, Lucifer steals the weapons and flies away. "Knight, you're the only person who has made me retreat. Remember that".

Even while Lucifer retreated, his fallen angels are still doing chaos so the knight has the determination to defeat them, despite being fatally wounded.

With his last breath, the knight manages to defeat and make them retreat but since he used up all his strength, he finally ends up dying. The event ends in a cliffanger, with the knight dead and Lucifer having stolen the weapons. What will happen to Mystarsia is still unclear...

....At least until pt2 "去りゆく君への鎮魂歌".

Part 2 starts right where Part 1 ended, everyone wondering what to do now and lamenting the knight's death. They hear a voice that tells them that if particular conditions are met, his soul can be brought back from the netherworld and put it back on his body (yes really).

The one helping them to do this is Cerberus. She doesn't want the knight to die either so she tells them that they need 3 specific things. The Knight's body, the core of his soul and "ressurection magic", at least somebody who can perform said magic.

----However, if they take too long the pieces of the knight's soul will eventually dissappear and he will be gone for real. In any case, she calls Minthe, one of her friends, to help everyone get to the underworld to get the Knight's soul core and to actually be able get back.

So the group gets split into doing specific tasks. Roger, Minthe and Aria go to the netherworld to bring the knight's soul, Feena will guard the Knight's body and Mei will go to the forest to find a magician that knows the ressurection magic.

Everything seems so nice and hopeful, Lucifer is certainly gone now so nothing can go wrong right?

No. Lucifer overheard everything. "Trying to bring the Knight's soul into this world? That's too dangerous. You should stay asleep in the netherworld".
