The more I listen to Scott Bessent, the more I believe he's telling us exactly what they're about to do.
Let me explain.

Small cap growth chart looks like Aug 2018 &amp; Nov 2020. Both scenarios are possible. A sharp drop before heading higher would add fuel to the fire.

He's been clear he's going to give every American a huge Apr tax refund. Massive $150B liquidity injection of $1,000 per worker + Trump's $2k tariffs checks

This will boost consumer confidence ahead of the summer months

Now here's the kicker

Jerome Powell is done in May &amp; Trump's "new guy" takes over. Right when they're sending checks to increase spending

Normally the Fed lowers rates during money velocity contraction, this time it'll be during an expansion

Creating another small cap bubble

As Bessent said earlier "We've set the table, now it's time to enjoy the meal". Nov 2020 the COVID vaccine was released, triggering a massive relief rally

I believe the Supreme Court striking down Trump's tariffs will be the same

Suddenly markets celebrated a "return to normal"

Small caps took off in Nov 2020 and we saw one of the largest gambling manias in market history. 

Think $GME, $AMC, $KOSS 

People were given "FREE" checks from the government, encouraging them to gamble on the stock market. Buying small caps with "huge upside potential."

Then we move onto Trump limiting credit cards to 10% for 1 year.

Jamie Dimon has been outspoken about the consequences of this, and he's correct. A forced drop to 10% will immediately encorage people to spend but it will cause a massive credit contraction in 2027

After midterms

Crazy part is everything they're doing with fiscal &amp; monetary policy will work.

It will inflate a massive bubble, on top of our current bubble. The consequences of it will be catastrophic though.

I can't help but think we're about to experience the euphoria people felt in 1929
