Liverpool’s high press dismantled West Ham’s buildup, forcing turnovers. Van Dijk &amp; Gomez maintained a high line, recovering possession swiftly and setting up dangerous transitions.

Goals from Díaz (29’), Gakpo (39’), Salah (43’), Alexander-Arnold (53’), &amp; Jota (83’) highlighted Liverpool’s precision in exploiting defensive lapses and creating scoring opportunities.

Paquetá worked hard, but Kudus and Soler couldn’t connect play, isolating Bowen. West Ham managed just 7 shots, none on target, relying on rare counters like Kudus hitting the post, easily controlled by Liverpool’s disciplined defense. 

Liverpool’s cohesion, pressing, and finishing make them firm title contenders. Salah, with 20 goals this season, leads the charge. Meanwhile, West Ham must address defensive frailties and midfield inefficiency to recover.
