The Titanic didn’t sink the way you think.

J.P. Morgan had a first-class ticket on the Titanic.

But he canceled at the last minute.

His biggest financial rivals stayed onboard—and never made it back.

Here’s the truth about the ‘unsinkable’ ship: 

On April 14, 1912, the RMS Titanic struck an iceberg and sank, killing over 1,500 people.

A tragic accident. A maritime disaster.

But some researchers argue that the Titanic didn’t sink by accident—it was sunk on purpose. 

And the mastermind? Banking mogul J.P. Morgan.

The theory suggests that Morgan, the most powerful financier of his time, deliberately orchestrated the disaster for financial gain.

The Titanic had a nearly identical sister ship: the Olympic. 

A year before the disaster, the Olympic was involved in a serious collision with the Royal Navy cruiser HMS Hawke.

It was badly damaged and declared uninsurable.

What if White Star Line switched them to commit the greatest insurance fraud in history? 

The plan:

- Rename the damaged Olympic as Titanic.

- Send it out to sea, ‘accidentally’ sink it, and collect the massive insurance payout.

Far-fetched? Maybe. But keep reading. 

J.P. Morgan was the power behind the White Star Line.

At the time, he was consolidating control over the U.S. financial system through the creation of the Federal Reserve.

Three of the biggest opponents to the Federal Reserve were aboard the Titanic: 

1. Benjamin Guggenheim (mining magnate)
2. Isidor Straus (co-owner of Macy’s)
3. John Jacob Astor IV (one of the richest men in the world)

All three opposed Morgan’s plans for the Federal Reserve.

None of them survived.

Meanwhile, J.P. Morgan had a first-class ticket on the Titanic—but canceled his trip at the last minute.

In 1985, researchers discovered the Titanic wreck.

But when they examined the hull, they found something shocking:

The metal plating was bent outward.

This suggests an explosion inside the ship—not just an iceberg impact. 

What caused it?

Some claim a fire had been burning in the coal bunker before the Titanic even set sail.

If true, the ship was already doomed before it hit the iceberg. 

When survivors arrived back in England, the White Star Line locked them in a warehouse for 24 hours.

Officials allegedly told them never to speak about what they saw.

Then, no thorough investigation took place.

No one was ever held responsible.

The U.S. government and British authorities closed the case.

J.P. Morgan, meanwhile, went on to establish the Federal Reserve the very next year—securing his place as the most powerful banker in history. 

No one can prove the Titanic was deliberately sunk.

But here’s what we do know:

1. J.P. Morgan controlled White Star Line

2. He canceled his trip at the last minute 

3. Three of his biggest rivals died aboard

4. There are serious discrepancies in the Titanic’s construction, sinking, and insurance

In 2014, A plane vanished without a trace.

239 lives lost. 1 million sq km searched, and still—no answers.

MH370 is aviation’s greatest mystery but the clues reveal a chilling story.

It was March 8, 2014.

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, a Boeing 777-200ER, departed Kuala Lumpur at 12:42 a.m. local time, bound for Beijing.

Onboard were 227 passengers and 12 crew members, representing 14 nationalities. 

Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, a seasoned pilot with over 18,000 flight hours, was at the controls alongside co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid.

The skies were clear.

The flight, a routine 5-hour journey, seemed ordinary—until it wasn’t. 

At 1:19 a.m., Captain Zaharie spoke to air traffic control:

"Good night. Malaysian 370."

It was the last communication ever heard.

Minutes later, MH370’s transponder—critical for radar tracking—went dark. 

The plane vanished from civilian air traffic control screens near the waypoint IGARI, where Malaysian and Vietnamese airspace meet.

But military radar later revealed a startling move:

MH370 had turned sharply west, crossing Malaysia and the Andaman Sea. 

Instead of continuing toward Beijing, MH370 flew thousands of miles off course, avoiding major radar zones.

Investigators believe the plane was deliberately navigated by someone with aviation expertise. 

It flew at precise altitudes, zig-zagging along the borders of air traffic control zones to avoid detection.

Who was flying it? And why?

While the plane disappeared from radar, a satellite system called Inmarsat provided cryptic clues.

For 6 hours after the disappearance, MH370 sent "pings" to an Inmarsat satellite, indicating it was still airborne.

Using Doppler analysis, investigators traced the flight path south over the Indian Ocean. 

But here’s the chilling part: Inmarsat’s final ping at 8:19 a.m. suggested MH370 had run out of fuel.

Where it crashed remains unknown. 

An international effort scoured 1 million square kilometers of the Indian Ocean.

The search lasted 4 years and cost $160 million, making it the most expensive in aviation history.

Despite advanced sonar and private missions, no wreckage was found at the primary search site. 

From pilot suicide to mechanical failure, theories abound.

Here are the leading ones:

1. Pilot Deliberation: Investigators found a flight simulation on Captain Zaharie’s computer that mirrored MH370’s trajectory.

Was it a premeditated act? 

2. Hijacking: Some suspect rogue actors took control, but no group ever claimed responsibility.

3. Fire on Board: Lithium-ion batteries in the cargo sparked concerns of an onboard fire that incapacitated the crew. 

4. Sudden Decompression: A rapid loss of cabin pressure could have rendered passengers unconscious, leaving the plane on autopilot.

Each theory raises more questions than answers.

For the families of the 239 passengers, the mystery is an open wound.

Relatives remain trapped in limbo, yearning for closure.

Malaysia’s official report in 2018 admitted:

"The cause of MH370’s disappearance cannot be determined." 

But a French investigation later revealed a startling twist:

The pilot’s cell phone connected briefly to a cell tower near Penang Island, Malaysia, suggesting deliberate actions in the cockpit.

Theories place MH370’s final descent somewhere along the "Seventh Arc," a vast expanse of the southern Indian Ocean.

Simon Hardy, a pilot and aviation expert, believes the plane was flown with precision, possibly attempting a controlled water landing. 

The limited debris found—like a flaperon from Reunion Island—supports this idea.

But the main wreckage and black box remain elusive. 

Why did the transponder shut off?
Who was flying the plane after it turned west?
What happened to the 239 people onboard?

2,500 years ago, Persia ruled the world.

At its heart stood Persepolis—a city so rich that the Greeks called it paradise on earth.

But in one night, it was burned down.

This is the story of how Persia built the greatest empire in history—and how it was erased in a single night:

In 515 BC, Darius the Great ordered the construction of a new ceremonial capital—Persepolis.

Built on a grand terrace carved into a mountainside, the city was unlike anything the world had seen.

Every detail was designed to project Persian power. 

- A 15-meter-high artificial platform overlooking the land

- Enormous palaces with 20-meter-tall cedar columns

- Gold-adorned gates guarded by colossal winged bulls

- Walls covered in dazzling textiles and jewel-studded thrones 

Greek historians, despite their hatred for Persia, grudgingly admitted that Persepolis was unparalleled in luxury and splendor.

The Persians called it "The Richest City Under the Sun."

But Persepolis wasn’t just about wealth—it was a statement. 

Unlike other conquerors, the Persians ruled through tolerance rather than terror.

Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Persian Empire, allowed his subjects to keep their customs, religions, and languages.

As long as they paid tribute, they were free. 

The Persian Royal Road—a 1,500-mile highway connecting Persepolis to the Mediterranean—allowed trade, culture, and knowledge to flow across the empire.

Greek historians marveled at the Persian couriers, who could deliver messages faster than any mortal traveler. 

The result?

1. The first multi-ethnic empire in history
2. A flourishing economy powered by trade
3. A sophisticated bureaucracy that managed vast lands with efficiency

Persepolis embodied this vision: not just a city, but the heart of an empire built on unity, not oppression.

But its greatness wouldn’t last.

In 334 BC, Alexander the Great launched his campaign against Persia.

Though vastly outnumbered, his Macedonian army crushed the Persian forces in a series of decisive battles. 

By 331 BC, the last Persian king, Darius III, was dead. 

The empire collapsed.

Then Alexander reached Persepolis—the ceremonial heart of the Persian world.

What happened next remains one of history’s greatest acts of destruction. 

According to Greek sources, a drunken Alexander, urged on by a Greek courtesan, ordered Persepolis to be burned to the ground as revenge for Persia’s past wars with Greece.

The city—its palaces, its treasures, its libraries—went up in flames. 

- Cedar roofs turned into an inferno

- Priceless art and history were reduced to ashes

- 200 years of Persian grandeur disappeared overnight

Persepolis never recovered.

For 2,000 years, the world ignored Persepolis.

History, written by the Greeks and Romans, painted the Persians as cruel, decadent barbarians.

Their achievements were overshadowed by the legacy of Alexander. 

The Irish were among the first slaves in the Americas—sold, beaten, and worked to death under brutal conditions.

Their story is often overshadowed, but it’s a chilling chapter of history that shaped nations.

Here’s the forgotten truth about Ireland’s tragic story of slavery: 

Ireland’s introduction to slavery began with Viking raids.

Starting in 795 AD, Norse invaders pillaged monastic towns like Armagh and Kildare, capturing Irish men and women as slaves.

Many were taken to Scotland, Norway, and Iceland, where they were ransomed, sold, or forced into labor.

In 875, Irish slaves in Iceland staged a rebellion, one of the largest in Europe since the fall of Rome.

By 1014, after the pivotal Battle of Clontarf, Viking dominance waned, and thousands of slaves were freed. 

Though the Normans abolished traditional slavery in Ireland by 1102, they replaced it with serfdom.

Serfs were tied to the land, which meant they could not be sold like chattel but lived under the constant oppression of feudal lords. 

The subjugation of the Irish reached new heights during the English colonization of Ireland.

As England tightened its grip, the Irish were systematically uprooted and sold into servitude and slavery across the Atlantic. 

During the Irish uprising against English rule, over 550,000 Irish were reportedly killed by English forces.

Another 300,000 were captured and sold as slaves.

- Political prisoners
- Military captives
- Women &amp; children 

Oliver Cromwell’s brutal conquest of Ireland marked one of the darkest periods in Irish history.

- Tens of thousands of Irish were sold to the Caribbean, Barbados and Montserrat.

- The infamous proclamation "To Hell or to Connacht" in 1654 ordered Irish families to move west of the River Shannon or face deportation—or worse.

Irish men, women, and children were forcibly transported to the Americas.

While some were labeled as indentured servants, the conditions they endured often mirrored slavery. 

1. Barbados and the West Indies

By 1652, at least 12,000 Irish were sent to Barbados, where they labored on sugar plantations under harsh conditions.

Irish slaves were sold for as little as 900 pounds of cotton, making them a cheaper alternative to African slaves. 

2. North America

Irish servants arrived in Virginia, the Carolinas, and New England.

Many were children, often as young as 10.

Between 1629 and 1632, tens of thousands of Irish were transported to Guyana, Antigua, and other colonies. 

3. Montserrat

By 1637, 69% of Montserrat’s population was Irish, making it one of the most significant destinations for Irish servitude.

Historians continue to debate whether the Irish were slaves or indentured servants.

While indentured servitude involved contracts, many Irish captives were forcibly removed from their homeland and had no legal agreements. 

Many Irish laborers endured brutal treatment, similar to African slaves.

They were beaten, overworked, and denied basic freedoms.

The lack of surviving contracts for many Irish workers suggests that a significant portion were, in effect, enslaved. 

The story of Irish servitude has largely been overshadowed by the transatlantic African slave trade. 

However, the legacy of Irish oppression has left a lasting mark.

- Montserrat: Known as the "Emerald Isle of the Caribbean," it retains strong Irish cultural influences.

- Barbados: The term "Redlegs" refers to the descendants of Irish and Scottish laborers who lived in poverty for generations. 

Alcatraz was built to be escape-proof.

• Sharks in the water
• Guards on every tower
• Freezing currents no man could survive

For years, no one made it out until June 11, 1962.

The true story of the greatest prison break in history: 

Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary sat on a lonely island in San Francisco Bay.

It housed America’s most dangerous criminals: Al Capone, Machine Gun Kelly, and Robert Stroud.

With strong ocean currents, freezing waters and no land in sight, Alcatraz was considered inescapable. 

But they underestimated three men:

Frank Morris – A genius with an IQ of 133, known for escaping prisons.

John Anglin – A skilled swimmer.

Clarence Anglin – John's younger brother, equally good in the water.

They weren’t just prisoners. They were escape artists. 

The plan wasn’t just a spur-of-the-moment idea.

Morris, the mastermind, spent over a year designing the escape.

With the help of Allen West (who ultimately got left behind), they devised a plan: 

1. Dig their way out – They chipped away at the vents in their cells for months using stolen spoons.

2. Create decoys – They built fake heads from soap, cement dust, and real human hair (stolen from the barbershop). 

3. Make a raft – They stitched together 50+ raincoats and sealed them with steam pipes to make a waterproof raft.

4. Find the perfect exit – They discovered a ventilation shaft that led to the roof. 

At 9:30 PM every night, the men used “Happy Hour” (music hour) to hide the noise of their digging.

Over time, they cleared a hole big enough to crawl through, leading to an unguarded utility corridor.

June 11, 1962, at 9:30 PM:  Morris and the Anglin brothers crawled through their cell vents and climbed up pipes to the roof.

They used a wrench made from a bed frame clasp to unscrew the vent cover. 

Then, they scaled down a 45-foot pipe, ran across the prison yard, climbed a 15-foot fence, and reached the shoreline.

By 11:00 PM, they inflated their raft and disappeared.

But Allen West's hole was too small. By the time he got out, the others were gone. 

At 7:15 AM, the guards discovered the dummy heads in their beds.

Alcatraz was in chaos.

But the escapees were already gone.

Or were they?

The FBI, U.S. Marshals, and Coast Guard launched an all-out search. 

What they found was chilling:

June 12 – A homemade paddle was found floating near Angel Island (the escapees’ likely destination).

June 14 – A waterproof bag containing family photos, phone numbers, and a letter to Clarence Anglin washed ashore. 

June 22 – A life vest with bite marks on the inflation tube was found 100 yards off Alcatraz.

July 1962 – A Norwegian ship spotted a body in a prison uniform 20 miles off the Golden Gate Bridge. But it was never recovered.

The FBI officially closed the case in 1979, declaring the men “presumed drowned.”

For decades, rumors, clues, and theories suggested they survived.

Theory 1: They Died in the Water

The current was strong, and without proper navigation, they could have been swept out to sea.

But this theory has one major flaw:

Bodies that drown in San Francisco Bay usually surface within days.

No bodies were ever found. 

Theory 2: They Survived &amp; Escaped to South America

The Anglins were expert swimmers, used to icy waters.

Their mother received roses for years with no name.

1973 – The Anglin brothers allegedly attended their mother’s funeral in disguise. 

2015 – A photo surfaced showing two men in Brazil who strongly resembled the Anglin brothers.

2018 – The FBI received a letter allegedly written by John Anglin, claiming they survived but that Frank Morris had died in 2005.

The letter was tested for fingerprints, but the results were inconclusive.

In 2003, the TV show MythBusters attempted the escape:

- They built a raft using the same raincoat method.
- They paddled across the bay successfully.
- They made it to shore.

Their conclusion? The escape was 100% possible. 

The U.S. Marshals still list the escapees as wanted men.  If alive today, they’d be in their 90s.

The case remains open until they are proven dead or turn 99 years old.

Alcatraz closed in 1963, just a year after the escape.

To this day, no one knows for sure if they survived.
