Their son has a dangerous quirk so he relies on his dads a lot for comfort and reassurance. 
He’s really close to them. Katsuki and Eijiro think he may be a bit too attached to them.

Junichiro was adopted by the two heroes as a baby. He was already given a name by his birth mother. He who takes. 

The boy had black hair and dark purple eyes. He looked nothing like his fathers, yet he was perfect.

His quirk first manifested when he was four years old. He ran into the street to chase after a stray cat, when he was hit by a car. The boy died that day. 

Until his dying consciousness latched on to the nearest soul and absorbed it.

He lied there bruised on the ground, his eyes catching sight of the passed out cat in front of him. 

No. The dead cat in front of him.

Junichiro. He who takes. A fitting name for a boy whose quirk allows him to steal souls.

Ever since that day, the boy has isolated himself in fear of hurting people. Of killing them. 

Such isolation means he interacts almost exclusively with his dads.

“Jun! Come down and eat! You can’t sleep in all day!” 

The boy groans into his pillow. Papa never lets him sleep past 9am. Says he’ll waste the day that way.
Jun crawls out from under his covers and puts his socked feet on the floor.

The smell of breakfast makes it easier to stand up and walk downstairs to the kitchen. He yawns then rubs the sleep from his eyes. “Morning.”

“Good morning, my Juni-bear!” Ei says with a kiss to the boy’s head. “Could you do me a favor and go wake up your Pops for me?”

“Sure.” 

“Thank you! Tell him I’m making breakfast and to get his butt out of bed!”

“Got it.” He lifts his tank top to scratch his belly. 

“Aren’t you cold in just shorts and a tank top?”

Jun looks down at his sleep clothes. “I have socks on.”

“Hm. Go wake up your father.”

With that, Jun turns heel and goes back upstairs to his parents’ room. He quietly pushes the door open and makes his way over to the bed. “Papa’s making breakfast. He sent me to fetch you.”

Katsuki groans and stays put. “Get up, old man,” Jun says, climbing on top of the sheets.

He straddles Katsuki’s hip.
“Oi. Get off. And who you callin’ Old Man?”
Katsuki shifts, making his son topple onto the sheets next to him. 
“Fine. If you get to sleep. Then I should too.” A small body curls up next to Katsuki under the covers.

The man turns toward his son and throws a heavy arm over him, effectively trapping him in place. Jun scoots his back up to his Pops’ chest, “You’re warm.”

The two drift off for a good few minutes before Eijirou stomps up the stairs and walks in on them sleeping.

“What are you doing?!”
They both jolt up in bed, blinking wearily at an exasperated red-head. 

“Jun, you were supposed to wake him up, not join him! How could you encourage his sleepy ways!” Ei says, “Now both of you, get up! The food will get cold.”

Jun makes grabby hands at Eijirou. “Carry me?”
“After bailing on your mission like that?”
Jun pouts, “Pleeaase?”
More grabby hands. 
“Fine,” Eijirou sits on the edge of the bed, “hop on.”

Jun crawls over and wraps his arms and legs around his papa.

He burries his head in his neck and mumbles, “I love you.”

Eijirou squeezes his calves and responds, “I love you too, Junichiro.”

Ei walks down to the kitchen with Jun on his back and Katsuki trailing behind them. He makes his way over to the kitchen island where he sets Jun down into his chair for breakfast.

“Alright! I made food. You’re lucky it’s not cold yet!” He makes a plate for his two best boys.

“Eat up!”

Katsuki tears into his food while Junichiro takes his time to savor the meal made for him. 
“Slow down Pops, you’re getting it all over your face.”
Katsuki looks up at his son, who licks his thumb and pushes a piece of rice on Katsuki’s cheek into his mouth.

He feels that wet tongue flick the pad of his thumb before he removes it from his father’s mouth. 
Jun looks down at his own food and mutters, “You’ll choke if you don’t slow down...”

Katsuki glances at Ei — who looks like he’s been caught with his hand in the cookie jar — and clears his throat.
“I can eat on my own, Brat.” Eijirou glances between the two once or twice, before continuing to eat his own breakfast.

The three of them head out the door together. Eijirou and Katsuki on their way to HQ, and Junichiro on his way to school. 

“Love you, Juni! Have a good day!”
“Kick ass at school, runt.”
Both Ei and Katsuki swoop down to plant kisses on Jun’s cheeks at the same time.

“Thanks, I will,” he says, not specifying which dad he’s talking to. “Bye, love you guys.”

The two men watch him walk away. “Can you believe he’s willing to go to school now? Seems like it was just yesterday when he was hardly talking and refusing to get out of bed.”

“Yeah. Little brat wouldn’t leave unless we held his hand all the way there, and then wouldn’t enter the damn building.”

“Haha! He sure has grown up!”

“Yeah. He has.”

Junichiro walks into class and to the back of the room where he sits next to the only person other than his dads that he talks to.

“Good morning Junchan!” Hinata says. Hinata is the type that at first glance, you’d confuse him for a girl.

It’s a common misconception, what with his long brown hair tied in a ponytail and his delicate body.

“How was your weekend?” he asks.
“Was okay.”
Hinata smiles despite the short answer. He doesn’t often get more than a sentence fragment from the broody boy.

The question causes Junichiro to ponder his weekend beyond “was okay”.

Him and his dads mostly chilled at home. He was snuggled between the two as they watched tv on Saturday night. They caught part of an old Crimson Riot special that Papa insisted they watch.

Katsuki complained that they’d seen it before, but shut his mouth when he saw the stars in his husband’s eyes at his favorite vintage hero.

Jun didn’t mind watching. He knew he’d end up falling asleep either way. In the end, they all huddled up under one blanket and

ate popcorn as they watched.

The corners of Jun’s mouth threaten to turn up as he remembers his pops feeding Ei popcorn and the stray pieces making a home in Jun’s hair.

Junichiro finds himself walking home with Hinata at the end of the day.

“Junchan?” the boy says in that quiet voice of his, “Would you mind going over Hero History with me sometime? I just can’t wrap my mind around the most significant battles and heroes...”

Jun looks at his friend, but he won’t meet his eyes.

“Sure.”

Hinata snaps his head up and his eyes widen. “Really?!”

Jun shrugs, “Yeah, why not.”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!!” Hinata springs forward and hugs Junichiro. Jun’s eyes widen and his heart starts to race. Hinata feels him stiffen and immediately backtracks.
