1. Trading isn't for the poor :

There are only two perfect times to get into trading,

- When you are very young (a teenager under parents care) 

OR 

- When you are already an adult but financially stable.

The teenager has little to no financial responsibilities

2. Every strategy has bad times :

The sole purpose of a technical strategy with an edge or positive expectancy , is to make you profits LONG TERM.

LONG TERM  is in caps because its the Key phrase here

This means in the short term , the outcome of each trade is random and its

3. Your RR determines your win rate ;

Its easier for price to run from 0 to  10pips than from 0 to 50PIPS

This is especially for people trading currency pairs.

The moment your average RR is above 1:2 , winning streaks become less frequent and losing streaks increase

4. Lower timeframes are harder;

The lower timeframes from 1h down to 1min have more chaos

More frequent market structure shifts
More liquidity grabs
More range

The best retail traders swing trade because the higher time frame tell you the main truth of long term direction.

5. Profitable Prop trading is a separate skillset :

There are traders very good on live accounts but struggle with prop challenges

I am part of them .

And this is one of my most recent lessons i learnt late this year.

6. Never Underestimate how ruthless the markets can be.

Traders who tie their self worth to their trading performance usually suffer massive depression when they underperforming

The genesis of that behavior is believing that losing streaks are weird

7. Only back testing will Fix your psychology issues:

PRO traders are humans like you
They feel sad too
They feel every emotions you feel in their normal lives

However , emotions and survival instincts is what makes us living beings

All your bad chart behavior are as a result
