Where I screwed up us thought Roberts warning to Trump would suffice and force him to work with Congress, that the US Constitution would work. What I suspected but didn't discount correctly is that Trump is insane. I mean that in terms of 25th Ammendment. Added a 2x to loss.
Anyway, not a real problem, I guess just reduced my PL to slightly net loss YTD and makes me Lake Woebegone above average, but not the genius of close Thursday. Still long RTX and GS. Short USDCAD.
The other factor did not count on as Canada is my hedge/money maker. Did not count on Carney seriousness in destroying ties with USA - which Trump of course initiated - so to move Canada to the EU corporatist plutocracy.
In the end we will find out the US has this thing called the US Constitution. Market set to scrape Trump off like dogshit from bottom of shoe after, unfortunately, finding it after a few steps in the entry way. S&P 500 first to 6200 then off to 6800 plus.
But first have to clean off this stink.
After it is cleaned we end with the Biden legacy fiscal impulse, lower taxes (for someone), greater deficit, and slightly high inflation unresolved. And a "dead Fed"
