Trump is claiming victory and will now ignore deportation lawsuit. what is happened is a very slim majority (5-4) staid the case going on in DC court and moved the venue to Texas fed court but it is still on. TRO vacated. Coney Barrett voted against Trump.
Coney Barrett when queried said to read the dissent opinion written by Sotomayor Part II and Part III section B here is part II and part III is about Habeas Corpus. https://www.law.cornell.edu/su...
It is rather clear that all the Supreme Court has done in JGG v Trump is vacate the "temporary restraining order" (TRO) to return the deportees immediately and move the venue to Texas. Likely Texas agrees with Boasberg and this will be appealed by Trump again to SCOTUS.
when the case correctly "percolates" to the Supreme Court, Coney Barrett then joined by Kavanaugh and Gorsuch o at least Roberts so ends with Trump loss of at least 5-4 if not 6-3 or even 6-2
this is also important is will be the indication how all the other 100 cases end with the Supreme Court, they are all unconstitutional given the bypassing of Congress with the use of Executive Orders.
This means all of Trump's first 100 days erased and back to square one which will be an immediate pivot to Congress so as to get something done before midterms.
A likely great irony is that this erasing of the first 100 days will end with a significant stock market rally which Trump will lay claim to if not see it as a life line, claiming his being crushed by courts and then forced to kowtow to Congress a "beautiful victory"
