Could watch stuff like this all day long the standards are insane
As evidenced in the Khusanov thread : - original footwork👍. Toes, balance... - First feint, that's when it gets tough : Khusanov struggles to "push" on his far leg (Right foot planted) so he needs a left foot push too - in the process of tangling his legs, he loses balance
Peep the little struggle to find his balance back to go again and reset his footwork.
Again : - good footwork - must turn right but block with the right leg : needs another contact with the ground (on his left leg) to push right - time lost, can't reset his footwork/body orientation (1v1 requires resilience to get back in your stance). Ends up a bit too squared
Again : must go left but sets his left leg and pushes on it. Right leg mus go all around the world to get back in the right direction and try to follow Bobb.
Turning is : - block w the opposite leg (to go right push with the left vice versa) - while keeping your balance (shoulders over feet) - while staying as dynamic as possible (on your toes) If you do all that in one motion your part of the absolute ELITE https://x.com/Vrdfr_/status/18...
Can't say I have seen as much Oscar Bobb as some other people but the last move is tough. Shoulders over feet while shifting the ball, not a single step wasted, pivot foot, arms for balance, shoulders over leg, going through the ball with the laces and keeping it on the ground.
