Time to drop all my stats recapping today’s games via @FantasyPtsData! 1. Over his past two games without Braelon Allen, Breece Hall is commanding: - 92% of backfield carries - 100% of backfield rush attempts inside the red zone …But that’s led to just 12.2 FPG. Here's why:
…At the same time, this offense has died. Excluding the 4th quarter against the Cowboys, Justin Fields has thrown for just 191 yards over the past two weeks. (And obnoxiously, Isaiah Davis has out-targeted Hall (5 to 4) in that timeframe.)
2. With Tyler Badie inactive, RJ Harvey commanded a season-high 13.3% target share. Harvey has now commanded at least an 11% target share in 3 of his last 4 games. For perspective, just 8 RBs have hit an 11% target share in 4 separate games this year.
3. Hope you weren’t too attached to that consolidated Cardinals’ backfield! That's gone now. Bam Knight: 52% backfield carry share, 3 of 3 carries inside the 10 Michael Carter: 43% carry share, 5 of 8 backfield targets Emari Demercado: Just one carry and one target
4. Tyler Warren commanded a 30% target share today, the second time he’s done so. It took Brock Bowers until Week 11 of his rookie season to do that twice. Since 1970, only Jordan Reed and Keith Jackson have topped Warren’s 84.6 PPR fantasy points through 6 career games.
5. Kimani Vidal sure looked like the Chargers’ efficient lead back today! Vidal: 75% backfield carry share, 10.5% target share, and the only carry inside the 10 Hassan Haskins: 25% carry share, 2.6% target share
Vidal’s 21.5 weighted opportunities (5th-most through the afternoon) resulted in 138 all-purpose yards and a TD. The Dolphins have now allowed over 100 yards from scrimmage to an RB in each of their last 5 games (Vidal, Rico Dowdle, Breece Hall, James Cook, Rhamondre Stevenson)
6. Ladd McConkey in Weeks 1-5: 18.7% target share, 42.6 receiving YPG, 9.7 FPG Ladd McConkey in Week 6 without Quentin Johnston: 23.7% target share, 100 receiving yards, 23.0 fantasy points
7. De’Von Achane over the past two games without Tyreek Hill: - 18.8% target share (RB2) - 2 of 2 backfield carries inside the 5-yard line - 23.8 FPG (RB3) Ollie Gordon has just 5 carries for -1 net yards in this timeframe.
8. Just like after Antonio Gibson went down in Week 5, the Patriots’ backfield was a virtual 50/50 touch split this week, with: - A slight lean to TreVeyon Henderson in the passing game - A BIG lean to Rhamondre Stevenson at the goal line
Over the last 7 quarters: Stevenson: - 56% of backfield carries - 5 of 5 inside the 10-yard line - 2 of 7 targets Henderson: - 44% of backfield carries - Nothing inside the 10 - 5 of 7 backfield targets
Just wanna say here - pass protection is not why Henderson isn't scoring fantasy points. It's because the Patriots are exclusively giving the ball to the RB who has fumbled 10 times in his last 21 games at the goal line. These do not have to be related.
9. Kayshon Boutte (5 targets for 93 yards, 2 TD) and Demario Douglas (4 for 71, 1 TD) did the most work of the Patriots’ pass-catchers Stefon Diggs had a big play called back, as did Douglas (a would-be 2nd TD).
Diggs is probably still the most valuable WR here, but Maye is Josh Allen-esque in his tendency to spread it around. But he’s making insane throws. Would still love to buy Diggs off this down game if possible after back-to-back 38%+ target shares.
10. Juwan Johnson’s target shares over the first three games of the year: 23.9%, 26.5%, 19.5% Over his last three games: 10.7%, 9.4%, 7.7% Also, Taysom Hill scored from the wildcat. Tangible drain on the TD upside of all Saints going forward.
11. David Njoku left this game twice with injuries. The first lasted only a couple of plays, but he was out for good with 13:36 left in the 4th quarter. Browns’ target shares from then on: Jerry Jeudy - 23.8% Harold Fannin - 19.0% Isaiah Bond - 19.0%
Over the entire game, Fannin had a 19.2% target share (best since Week 1), resulting in a career-high 15.2 FPG. Will be interested to see the route participation with/without Njoku, but Fannin was having a solid day (drop aside) even beforehand.
12. I’ve been on record that somebody from the Steelers’ backfield would be valuable rest-of-season. But out of the bye, they rolled out a three-way committee intending to prove me wrong. The backfield totaled a very strong 23.9 weighted opportunities. But here’s the split:
Jaylen Warren: 48% carry share, 6.7% target share, the only carry inside the red zone Kenneth Gainwell: 26% carry share, 20% target share (2nd on the team to only DK Metcalf) Kaleb Johnson: 26% carry share Both Gainwell and Warren are just desperation FLEX plays at best now.
13. Javonte Williams scored a season-low 8.4 fantasy points. But the workload was still awesome/arguably one of his best of the year. - 81% carry share (2nd-highest on the season) - 23.5% target share (highest in a single game since 2023)
14. Rico Dowdle over the past two weeks: 473 all-purpose yards, 66.3 fantasy points Chuba Hubbard in Weeks 1-4: 311 yards, 56.1 fantasy points … Chase Brown all year: 255 yards, 56.4 fantasy points

16. Brian Thomas Jr. in Weeks 1-3: - 21.2% target share (WR26) - 38.3 receiving YPG (WR56) - 8.5 FPG (WR56) Weeks 4-6: - 23.5% target share (WR19) - 73.0 receiving YPG (WR13) - 15.2 FPG (WR14) BTJ had another TD called back because Travis Hunter was offsides today!
17. Chase Brown has lost work in the Bengals’ backfield over the past two weeks. Weeks 1-4: 85% carry share Last two weeks: 66%, 60% Samaje Perine out-targeted him in Week 6 as well. On the bright side(?), today was his first game above 4.0 YPC.
18. The Packers’ target shares coming out of the bye: Romeo Doubs - 34.6% Matthew Golden - 19.2% Josh Jacobs - 19.2% Nobody else over 8% Jacobs is quietly averaging 6.0 targets/game over the past three games since Jayden Reed was injured.
19. Puka Nacua was limited/banged up for the 2nd half. The Rams’ targets in that timeframe: Tyler Higbee - 3 Davante Adams - 2 Kyren Williams - 2 Konata Mumpfield - 2 Davis Allen - 1 Jordan Whittington - 1 Please be okay!
20. Tyler Huntley replaced Cooper Rush for the 4th quarter. The Ravens’ target shares from that point on: Justice Hill - 26.7% DeAndre Hopkins - 20.0% Zay Flowers - 20.0% Isaiah Likely - 13.3% Rashod Bateman - 6.7% Derrick Henry - 6.7% Let’s hope Lamar is back after the bye
21. In his first game of the season without Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer led the Raiders with a 30.4% target share. Only 3 other TEs — Dallas Goedert, Jake Ferguson, and Tyler Warren — have a game above a 30% target share this season.
22. Cam Ward is averaging just 3.45 adjusted net yards/attempt through six games. The list of rookie QBs to average less than that since 2012 through an initial six games: Ryan Lindley Dorian Thompson-Robinson Deshone Kizer Dwayne Haskins Jared Goff Josh Allen Skylar Thompson
